Pfizer are meeting their contract with us so we don't really care what they export. I'm just worried about tit for tat hitting us. We ban export of AZ, UK ban export of Pfizer ingredients and we end up with factories being closed.

Some doctors are reporting there is still “huge concern” among patients about the AstraZeneca vaccine in spite of the ruling on its safety by the European Medicines Agency (EMA). Dr Paul O’Keeffe of Broadale Surgery in Maryborough, Cork. said he is glad he using the Pfizer vaccine because at the moment AstraZeneca is a “hard sell” with the public.
There is huge concern trying to convince the public on Astrazeneca.
Only one in five French people now trust the AstraZeneca vaccine, according to a poll by the Elabe Institute published Tuesday.

The NY Times have an interesting report on EU vaccine issues here which includes this ... Vaccine hesitancy is one of the main obstacles to herd immunity but thankfully Ireland is nowhere near as bad as France or the US on this.In the US a quarter of lawmakers have refused a vaccine!! Perfectly in line with the fact that a quarter of US adults also say they will refuse a vaccine.
We'll see, appearently there's large deliveries due in the last days of March from AZ & Pfizer. We'll see what comes to pass

Northern Ireland authorities say residents of the Republic with old UK GP numbers who apply to be vaccinated in the six counties will not face any sanction.
