    Right, inspired by the very generous mrmac I just had an idea for a project!

    Since there's a nice scatter of us throughout Ireland I was thinking of popping a disposable camera in a padded envelope and sending it on its merry way to someone in another county. they in turn, take a photo of something / someone /someplace that represents their County or at least of importance to them

    ...they in turn, pop it back into the envelope and send it on its way to another member, in another county.

    At the end, we obviously get the photos developed, posted and possibly displayed somewhere (I know a few places that can sort me out)
    I think it would also be a good Idea to use the same envelope as for stamps!! (like a suitcase in a nostalgic film)

    People could obviously through their names up here with locations, or alternatively use the Photobuddies thread

    let me know what you guys think and also your ideas. i think this would be really fun!!!

    • Please sign your name on the 'sticker labels' i'll be sending with it
    • Try and keep us informed where the camera is and where its going next
    • Post the camera back to me, please :)
    • And most important of all...

    It's a good idea,But i'd recommend not winding the camera when you've used it,Chances are you'll get alot of envelope shots,and possibly some confused post men :)

    I know another group that tried this across Europe... About ten out of focus cock photos came out at the end of it... I can still remember the rant the guy that started it went off on on the Flickr group...

    Thanks HK, i think one per county would be best considering theres only 36 EXP on them (have to allow for people taking shots by mistake)(and pictures of their jimmy-joe)

    what about adding a small wee notebook in the envelope - summat cheap - so people can jot down when and where the shot was taken - and anything else that might take their fancy? :rolleyes:

    I will be putting a notepad in for people to write their thoughts etc, but id like to keep the pictures a secret so to speak until they are developed.
    Then people can post here and say what they did!
