    Ok, so following on from a casual comment in the Lair which seemed to ring a few bells (shaddap, Spunóg! :pac:), and from the Noxy Award thread where we're all struggling to remember all those brilliant quotes from the year gone by and failing miserably ... this thread is for those random funny quotes that pop up in the Lair or the rest of the Forum on a fairly regular basis!

    Sometimes they're deliberate, sometimes they're funny taken out of context, sometimes some rotten bugger happens along and makes a double entendre out of an innocent comment (and don't all look at me, I'm not the only one! :p) ... but there have been some golden ROFLMAO moments, and it is a shame to see them lost in the mists of time!

    A thought or two to bear in mind, perhaps ... the denizens of the night around here are generally an easy-going bunch, with a strong sense of humour, and unlikely to take offense ... but bear in mind that everyone has their threshold, and that, say, an inadvertent pun or joke in the midst of someone venting about what a shit-awful day they've had may not be the best one to choose to quote! ;)

    On the other side, if you are quoted, and you have an issue with it, please accept that the person quoting you is unlikely to have meant to offend or hurt ... just pop a PM to the poster or one of the mods, and ask to have it deleted. :)
