Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Yeah, forgot to sign into it. Can see them now.

Surprised that only 25% of people
allowed Beskha to kill her slave master. Guy had it coming.

I was the same! Think I chose popular option for most other things.

Is the season pass worth €13?

Finished episode 4 yday, it was pretty good.
    Graphics are terrible!
I wonder if Telltale Games will change their gameplay now, do these choices matter?

    Episode 5 is out now.

That was a very tough episode, decisions wise

I made the wrong choice at the end. I didn't read it right, I thought it meant who do you want to live, Ashar is so much better than Rodrik, it's just not fair

Talking to Tyrion was tough, I didn't get anything off of him

    I decided to
save Asher as the pit fighter's would probably only follow him and with the traitor I spared him even thought I promised the sister as he had info on the ambush. The traitor is supposedly always the person you didn't choose to be sentinel

    Fúck, that ending was tough.
Saved Asher. Fúck diplomacy from this point, Ironrath needs a wildcard!

Trying to take on Cersei and Tyrion in a verbal battle is very difficult, I definitely messed that up.

I stabbed Royland just as he mentioned something about Ashe. Whoops.

I actually was expecting the mother to be the spy the whole time.

How did your episode end out of interest?

There was an ambush at the port as soon as Ashe arrived. I had to choose between the two brothers like everyone else.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 34,226 ✭✭✭✭Penn

    Definitely a tough episode.
I told Tyrion that Margery had sent me, but then he said the wine was from Cersei's stock, I knew he knew what was going on so I was just honest with him after that and he told me the truth. Though it'll make for a tough conversation with Cersei for the next episode.

Saved Asher at the end. I'd been playing Rodrik as a diplomat as much as possible (though still standing up to the Whitehills and taking beatings for it). But now, I think Asher is needed more. But definitely a tough choice.

    So
Rodrik ends up at the port no matter what heppens at Iron Wrath. Damn, I wish I stabbed the traitor now.

I just had a look on YouTube, the outcomes are identical at the port

    Suppose I shouldn't be surprised.

    Rotten ending,
I liked those two the most

    The Tyrion talk was tough,
id say there is no way of tricking him in that scenario.

Serious amount of bugs and glitches in this game, I had to restart twice because of freezing.

Still like these type of games, can anyone tell me if the wolf among us is worth picking up for 25 quid?

The Wolf Among Us is great, very well written. I think it's Telltale's best game to date with Borderlands a close second.

Mira's story is awful though. Half the time it seems like they're just giving her something to do just because the actors for Tyrion, Cersei and Margery agreed to be in the game.

She can do nothing right either. "A f**k up of catastrophic proportions" is how I would describe my engagements as her

I think its an interesting contrast to the other story lines. Her equally as dangerous battles are fought entirely with words.

Her scenes with Tyrion/Cersei/Margery are great. It's the other stuff (Sera/CoalBoy/Other randomers who probably won't be seen again) that just seems like busywork.

Best episode of the series by far, I was struggling to get through the others but enjoyed this one. Shame about the choice, as others said they were the only characters I liked.

Telltale really need to sort out their engine / bug issues. Found this incredibly glitchy, freezing frequently and really dodgy frame rate issues. Although I played ep 3 of Tales from the Borderlands straight after this and had zero problems (and a much better time, their best game by far IMO)

The final episode of Telltales' Game of Thrones series, The Ice Dragon, will release on November 17, 2015.

God they really are stretching the absolute f*ck out of these games. They really need to take a look at this model of release and try and pare it down to a maximum of 6 weeks between episodes.

Just want to play it to get it over with. Was an ok season but there are far better Telltale games around.

Tales from the Borderlands has exceeded my expectations and hopes by a huge amount. I love Borderlands but was fairly skeptical of the idea of TftB, but it has been absolutely incredible, and one of the most consistently funny games I've ever played. If the final episode lives up to the standard set by the last episode, it could be the best TellTale game yet.

I also loved The Wolf Among Us, and probably rank it as the top Telltale game so far. Didn't have the emotional punches and moments of The Walking Dead, but the story was a lot more consistent, exciting and intriguing, with a better range of characters.

Yeah I think both of those surpass The Walking Dead to be honest as brilliant as it is.

They are paced better, Walking Dead spends too much time doing sweet f**k all.... similar in that vein to the TV show

Haven't even played the most recent episode yet.
I think Game of Thrones has put me off playing anymore Telltale Games.
Just not interested anymore, I loved The Walking Dead S1 and S2 and The Wolf AMong Us was really good too.

You'd be doing yourself a disservice not playing Tales form the Borderlands

Absolutely. It gets the balance between story, gameplay and choices much better than any other Telltale Game yet imo.

Not to mention it's hilarious, I'm still singing the song from the last episode to myself while chuckling and thinking about the slo mo walk to the rocket on a regular basis.

And it nails the humour too, by far my favourite Telltale series.

I've actually now become a fan of that Artist now (Twin Shadow), that song is straight up f**king class, it's like a modern Def Leopard :pac:

Ridiculous that it'll be 4 months between episode 5 and 6, and nearly a year from episode 1 to 6

For games like this they really should have been more ahead of themselves in development

Don't know why it came in December, it should have been released in April/May when the tv show is on and there's massive hype around everything GOT

People just need to stop buying them before they're fully released then. Telltale might make some decent games but they're a joke tbh.

Erm its not the customers fault Telltale have just overloaded themselves with work.
The Borderlands game, another bite sized Walking dead series game, a next gen port of the Back to the Future and the Minecraft story mode o top of this.
Been very underwhelmed by this game as a fan of GoT its vastly inferior than Tales from the Borderlands & I'm not even a fan of that series.

Course not, but as long as they continue to sell early, Telltale will continue like this.
