Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Loving Danny Dyer ;) Also when I say "brought a tear to my eye" I mean tear flowing down my face :o

He's a lot better than I expected, his character is a lot more complex or something than I thought he would be- think I expected another Phil Mitchell type but he seems more similar to Alfie without the goofyness/patheticness for want of a better word. Enjoying their family scenes alot

Definitely; in fact I wouldn't even miss Phil if he left, can't stand him - he's just a thug. There is a lot more depth to Danny Dyers character.

nice to be a lovely coming out scene on eastenders and accepting also made me cry

great episode for a change, when Alfie and Kat were looking at the screen at the scan I was hoping for Alfies sake it was a boy but hoping for kats sake it was a girl so twins was a nice surprise, I hope the twins are a boy and a girl that would even it out because Alfie wants a boy to kick football with and Kat wants a girl to have fun dressing up and putting makeup on each other while the lads are kicking ball:D I'm loving Danny Dyer as Mick he is a great asset to the programme and I loved the scenes with Mick and his son coming out, it was very well done and the mother outside the door having overheard the conversation in bits crying was great telly

ah here fcuk this , i thought when he "sus'd" his son , i expect dyer to start screamin "you fackin mug" and then go down stairs ,come back up and smash a bar stool over his head lol . . . . . . . :P to use to danny dyer films :D

but it was a good scene for a change, wasnt expecting this new family to boost eastenders for me but its doing well so far , my only problem is, i think there was to much over acting from danny dyer , great acting tho, acting you would see in a movie but not in a soap , wouldnt mind seeing him in a similar role with the same story line etc but in a movie it would be a change to all this bottle throwing etc

I think it's something to do with this kind of moodiness he has, and the way he looks up from under his eyes if that makes any sense. He has good expression too. I think Linda has an amazing figure but she goes on a bit too much, she is probably the weakest out of them and it's weird cos they really are focusing a lot on this family since they came in.

Both of Kats twins have different fathers with 3 potential candidates for each baby after her 6 affairs since she and Alfie reunited

nah i think its obvious they gave her two this time for a: more complications

and b: if one dies she will still have the other one...

I bawled like a baby watching that end scene. It was so great, I really hope it encourages the parents of gay teens/even gay adults to be as accepting. It actually was a bigger deal to see how the Danny Dyer's character coped with it all rather than his son- especially as Dyer would be seen as a bit of a hard nut/geezer so it was great to see how well he did with that storyline.

His reaction on Twitter also to some of the homophobic tweets he got following the show's airing was great too. I dunno what it is about him, I don't really fancy him or anything, but he seems bang on in real life.

If you've never seen him on 8 out of 10 Cats you should look it up, he had them all crying laughing- absolutely hilarious.

Nice to see some positive storylines in EE- now if we could just get rid of Phil and Sharon- painfully annoying doesn't even begin to describe them.

and c: Ronnie's likely gonna need Roxy's help nicking two babies at the same time.
    :P

Aha. I wondered where Zsa Zsa fitted in.
Her mum is like a bag of giggles, she practically never stops smiling.

She would be attractive is she stopped dressing like Vicky Pollard and more like her mother.

I didn't find that scene with Mick and the son as emotional as everyone letting on, making it sound award Winning

Kinda agree, Danny looked a bit uncomfortable and the young fella sounded like he was coughing instead of crying.

Still I suppose it was a difficult scene to get right.

She looks as old as her mother imo and how long before her and Dexter are getting it on

So now Jane is back will she be after Ian or Mas again

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 7,533 Mod ✭✭✭✭yerwanthere123

I for one am delighted Jane is back, it was quite a nice surprise. Fair play to them for managing to keep it a secret!

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 6,755 ✭✭✭A V A

    jane is back . . . . . how bloody boring!!!!

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 7,533 Mod ✭✭✭✭yerwanthere123

^ Well I always liked the character so I'm happy. However if she's been brought back purely so she can get back together win Ian, and being his doormat, then I'll agree with you.

Agreed, he's a real creep. Why is he even still in the show? I don't think he serves any purpose.

Carol Jackson is shellshocked next week as she stumbles across a positive pregnancy test at home.

Carol (Lindsey Coulson) is coming to terms with the news that she has breast cancer when she is suddenly distracted by the surprising discovery.

When Carol finds the test in the bin at the Butcher house, she jumps to various conclusions about who it could belong to, but will she get to the truth?

    I think it is
    Lauren's, preggers by Jake

Good god, Tanya has left the show and still this nonsense with Max is still ongoing! End this crap for once! I felt sorry for Kirsty though, even if she was basically prostituting herself in Tuesday night's episode.

This storyline between Bianca and Terry is fast getting tedious too, move it along please.

Loving Shirley and the Carter's though, although was disappointed that Johnny didn't actually go to the gay club with them in the end. Hope that's in Thursday's episode.

Poor Carol, nobody can say her name properly. Most of them can't pronounce their r's or l's. So she is known as "ca-wu"
