Ordered mine Jan 6th, it's now shown up as 'Item Received ' in Customs Athlone.

Do i wait till they contact me or can i ring them about it or is there another status to appear on the tracking?

Ordered mine on 31st Dec, arrived in Customs Athlone on 21st, then 24 hrs later checked tracking and now says on route to customer.
Hoping to have it tomorrow.

Just tried it there and it's ok but not HD quality.

You can only have a max of two devices to view the premium channels

What's your broadband speed? If it's fibre then it's more than likely the add on that you're using. I find the most popular two have multiple links for each game and I just switch to another source until I find one that doesn't buffer too much.

Just tried it......no full HD but watchable quality ! Issue is app is almost impossible to use with remote that came with my box ! I have a MXQ box.

It's most likely the server hosting the stream then. It's overloaded with people watching and struggling.

got this box in the op today from china was charged 14.13 from customs po cleareance plus vat. does anyone know how to get around this is it cause i had it delivered to my work? ive ordered loads more stuff from that site freaked now

You pay VAT on stuff you import, there is no 'getting around' it. You might get lucky and not be caught for it now and again.

Back Ordered is a way the Chinese sellers hold up on stock and ship the lot to Amazon Warehouse via DHL in one shipment.
If they don't get enough sales that back order will be delayed. But they should as that box sells loads.

It sells for ~ €18-€24 on Chinese sites with free shipping.

EDIT - It just went back a day, to the 29th.

DOUBLE EDIT - It won't take a month, but won't be fast. Maybe ~ 2 weeks.

I was just pointing out it won't be very fast. Some Chinese sites sell it under the €23 threshold and free delivery. They may arrive on or around the same time.

For an alternative remote you can use two apps called Droidmote

First, install Droidmote Server onto the box (costs ~€3.50). Then install Droidmote Client onto your phone (free)

You use the phones touch screen as a mouse, there is a scroll button and you can also call up the keyboard on your phone and use that to type on the box. Few other features too (gaming pad I think)

And thats assuming that there is no invoice or receipt inside the package or no customs declaration stuck on the outside of it stating the value of the item(s)

Yes you can . I did , what I'm saying is about postage they take that as full price including box . But ya have to try and get free postage . I done it loads of times . Never any questions . Comes in small padded envelope .

MXIII 2GB/8GB is bulletproof and more than up to the task of that partnership. Do a restore. Were you tinkering ?

never found them happy together
i would play somethink on kodi pause it and it would open in another android app.very weird.
tried a dedicated openelec and bricked it then back to factory and its seems fine but cant trust it.
