Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi

I'm sure I saw a request on these boards before for this but I can't find it now.

I'm looking for the user manual for a Scopetronic homeguard alarm. Moved into new house and no manual available so don't know what half the readings mean.

If anybody could direct me to where I can get one it would be great.

    Ta very much

    Pix

This has been requested as a sticky . I think this is a good idea.
Basicaly if you have a link to a user manual post it here.
If the manual you require is not here post a request & see if someone can help you.
Do not post links to any sites which charge & do not post up links for engineer manuals. (requesting an Engineer manual is fine)
If people want to exchange these by email thats up to them.
Please keep this thread on topic. If you wish to discuss anything else please start a new thread or post in a relevant thread.
Off topic posts may be deleted.

    OK then lets get started.

    A kind offer Tim.
I would say its best for people to request something & for the offer to follow.
I think the thread will be easier for a user to follow that way. Especially as it grows to a large number of pages.

By all means everyone feel free to link to any other manuals not listed above.

It goes someway to explaining the different zone/user attributes etc as well as a useful guide on EN standard in the UK

How's it going Tim. Would you have an installation manual for the Premier Intruder Alarm system handy by any chance. I'm working for a properly registered company, and have recently taken over a premises with a premier alarm on it. Thanks. Enda.

    Hi,

    Just joined the board.

Trying to solve a few problems on a friends alarm (Astec 63DV), but need to do a factory reset to get rid of the existing engineer codes.

Can I get a copy of the installation manual as well?

    Thanks a bunch!

    /Claus

    Hi KoolKid

My brother has an Aritech alarm system in his house. I'm not all that familiar with them. He has the disarm code, but he doesn't know the codes to full set or part set the system. Are these default codes or do I need to go into the menus to check it them?

If I could get the manuals, user and engineering, it would be handy for future troubleshooting. Would you be able to pass me on a link for the manuals please?

    Thanks

    dhall65

I'm looking for engineer codes for Astec 63DV Alarm. I'd be grateful if someone would send me a link.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,763 ✭✭✭✭altor

The defaulted codes are : factory code 4711 will disarm it and 1174 wil get you into engineer mode.

  • Registered Users Posts: 28 dunkelgrun

Thanks Altor. I already had the 1174 code and know it's Fn99 to exit. I was interested in what could be done in engineer mode. Is there an installation manual?

We have this Alarm. We moved in here and no one knew the code.

I pulled the fuse in the control panel a few months ago to stop it ringing when it was accidentally set off.

Anyone know how to reset it? Is it a case of RTFM?

Would like to get it working again.

    Thanks.

Depending on how old it is
Is there a factory link near the centre of the board marked LK 1
If there is a second board plugged on top of the main PCB there may also be a link on that also.
Remove both links & power up the system.Try disarm with 04567
If that works Try 01234 as the engineer code.

I have just joined and noticed somebody was looking for the manuals. I tried ukpanels.com but the site is blocked for that particular manual.
I am replacing my windows and need to disengage the sensors on the windows. I have the engineers code but I don't know how to use it. And after removing the sensors how do I re-install the system?
Thanks for any help in this.

Has anybody got the installation manual for the Scoptronic Homeguard Alarm System?
Or else can anybody tell me how to disengage the system as I am replacing my windows and need to remove all the sensors from the windows. I need to put them back on again on the new windows.
I have he engineer's code but not sure how to use it.

Simply enter the engineer code. A small C will show on the screen.
Leave in that mode while you work on the windows.
Enter 38* to display open zones.
Enter 0* to leave engineer mode.

If you want to enter engineering enter the engineer code. To exit press 0* when C is displayed. It is described on page 6 of the engineer manual.
