Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Pancakes. I just love them.
My parents used to say I'd turn in to a big pancake one day if I kept eating them. Lying *****.

    There's still time....

you do know atkins was fat when he died from a heart attack right?

Yes - but that was because he never tackled the underlying causes of his obesity. Also, atkins is high in fat, Im doing a low fat variant

If they're so great, why do most people not eat them during the rest of the year?

Because they're really, really bad for you. Like fried bread. Covered in sugar. And cream. And Nutella. And Syrup.

I tried to make them this morning and it was a total disaster, so I went to lidl and bought two packs.

I heated them up in the microwave and pretended I made them.

No but there are some stuff you won't have that everyone else loves, tea, chocolate, pancakes etc!

    AND you like bovril

I think you should start a bovril thread to see who actually likes it, I'd be intrigued by the poll results!

Because fad diets makes you feel like you're special.

Where as being sensible with diet and exercise is just so mundane.

and of course lemon and sugar!

Nutella. And maybe some banana if they're not black. Sugar on it's own is horrible. I did have a housemate that used to have curry and cheese pancakes. She was a freak.
