Bought a jar of it recently, but can't figure it out, love Marmite but how do you make it into a drink, I tried a spoonful of it in a mug of boiling water and cooled it down with some milk.
It didn't put a smile on Gillo's tummy:(:(:(

    never milk... never ever...

Bovril = Add boiling water = drink

Marmite = spread on toast = yum

Cottage cheese, another maligned, misunderstood food.

Everyone's always asking "What can I mix with it to make it bearable??" I think it's ****ing delicious just the way it is.

Whatever's in the fridge between bread slices, toasted optional.

*remove glass first, I learned that the hard way....:(

Bovril. Marmite. Jarred filth! Revolting. Urgh! I shudder to think how they're made.

My dad used to make me Bovril sometimes. I didn't know you could spread it on a sandwich. Btw, he also made a drink with oxo cubes. Delicious with bread and butter. I remember us sitting up late watching Twelve Angry Men, dipping bread in my oxo.

I just LOVE Bovril! I have to have a Jar of it in my cupboard at all times - I add it to soups, stews, Mince, Bolognese etc etc - never drink it though.

My granny used to dilute it in boiling water and drink it before bed time so I love the smell of it , reminds me of her:) She lived to 93 too - maybe there's something in this bovril!

Anyone who uses Bisto or OXO I urge you to try Bovril instead and relish the meaty difference;)

Oh and you can also get it in Tesco in Chicken flavour! I use it in Curries, Pasta Bakes, Soups et etc etc ......................................................................:D

Bovril, Marmite, Vegemite, all disgusting, sticky, gooey, brown horribleness.

I don't know how you can even look inside the jar, and diluting the stuff with water?

Theres something seriously wrong with you people. Have you never heard of soup?
