We've one class a week for Hamlet and are only starting essays next week.. Eep. Also haven't done any proper written work in German, or prose or An Triail in Irish. And they start on the 9th.. Yeah good luck with that, teachers

We do examcraft mocks and teacher gave us the DEB sample mock, and i'm pretty sure the same is the same as the real one.

SQ's-

3 features of a partnership, conciliation and arbitration, form p45 and p60, benefits of EDI, match up box(easy), intrapeneurship, indigenous firm and benefits, insurance calculation.

ABQ-

TQM, Marketing mix, sources of finance.

and cant be bothered doing the long questions :L

So this thread is kinda dead, so how many of ye have actually done your mocks?. What were they like in terms of difficulty, (not looking for hints or anything Mods just general discussion like!

Were they as hard/easier than you thought etc?

i would definetly agree with this as i am also repeating!

da mocks dont count for anything! learning all the spoilers and at the end of the day you come out with brill results but no actual idea of what you may get in august with your results.. and end up not getting the course you want for your own stupid mistakes.

Sure its not that hard :P Just study enough for them! Maths/Irish are the only HL ones to worry about unless you do history like me

Makes no difference, they both have equally little in common with the SEC papers. Timing is really the only thing the mocks are useful for.

Ecology, everything to do with genetics, homeostasis, cell division, plant reproduction, human reproduction, photosynth. and respiration. Oh, and the heart.

HL Physics:

Heat, mechanics, 2 questions on electricity, a short question on the electron, there's some nuclear questions, experiment on heat, experiment on waves.

HL English poets:

Heaney and Plath.

HL Hamlet:

We've been told we're having a character question on Hamlet himself

About 3 / 4 I think ... DEB, Examcraft, Munster Examining Board, and I think there's another one. Some schools will order different subjects from different companies to confuse students trying to get hints.

Plus many teachers don't use the companies anyway ... they set their own papers.

What about the 'dictatorship and democracy in Europet', 'pursuit of sovereignty and impact on partition', and 'movements for political and social reform'? Much appreciated but I don't do the section you mentioned.

People with disabilities

German Grammer:

Verbs that take prepositions e.g Ich habe Angst vor der Prufung then you have to ask the question i.e Wovor hast du Angst? If that makes sense...

Business:

Consumer protection act 2007, insurance (average clause), a business plan, a report and the ratios like current ratio etc...

Biology:

Circulatory system, ecology, photosynthesis, respiration

History:

Montgomery Bus Boycott and effect on civil rights movement

A teacher let it slip that ALL our pres are Examcraft.

Business - Looks like examcraft, we've been covering these areas recently, teacher said that we have material in the upcoming pre covered recently, and others may get covered before the pre(starting before mid-term) . Areas such to likes of SPOILERED ^above

English - Again, appears Examcraft, "

if you know hamlet characters

, you're covered, constantly naming poets as above.

So at least there's two, that appear to be that of Examcraft.
