The segment where they're talking about the chemistry between him and Superstar Billy Graham s quite good, Vince even marks a little bit when talking about the MSG matches

Anyone know where the best place in Dublin is for buying wrestling dvds is? Or am I better off ordering off the internet.

Go for the interweb, probably be overcharged offline (in most places). Silvervision.co.uk or eBay.

Here ya go(used copies starting at around $22), you'll have to get it from a marketplace seller. It is Region 1. I haven't looked anywhere else for it. There are a few on eBay but check if they ship to Ireland first, looks like a rare one.

    From Rajah:

WWE will release “The Greatest Superstars of WrestleMania” on DVD on March 25th. The DVD will be an exclusive release at a selected retailer, probably Wal-Mart or FYE.

You won't find an original new as it was still WWF then. AFAIK all those have now been discontinued.

Starrcade 97' tape for £80 seems like an awful lot.
Wrestlemania 17 is really rare too I think, it's the uncut one, with no logo blurring.

It's nice that I have it along with the Back in Black disc.

    Offers welcome of course.

Spreading the word about a new Irish production company set up:
Strong Style Productions Is A Small Independent Set-Up, Run By One Person Out Of Dublin, Ireland.

My Goal Was To Create And Produce A Variety Of Different Wrestling DVD's, From The "Shoot Interview" To A "Documentary Style" To Full Wrestling Shows, To Best Of DVD's.

I Had Been Pitching DVD Ideas Around For About A Year Without Any Luck, And Getting Nowhere, Until Former AWA, ECW & NWA World Heavyweight Champion, Steve Corino, Came On Board And Began To Work With Me.

Without The Help Of Respected Talents Such As Steve Corino And In Particular, Allison Danger, Who Was My First DVD, None Of This Would Have Been Possible. I Owe A Lot To Them!

He currently has upcoming projects with Allison Danger, Sara Del Ray and Steve Corino.

I watched it a couple of years ago, it's basically just slagging the Ultimate Warrior for being weird. Some of it is entertaining and it made me laugh a few times, but there's also some untrue stuff in it designed to make Warrior look bad. As if he can't do that by himself these days! Probably worth a watch but not the sort of thing that'd get repeat viewings

Yeah been bidding on a couple that I've seen ending soon and cheap. Thanks for the feedback, lads.
Currently bidding on Wrestlemania 19 ($9.99), Monday Night Wars ($2.50) and Unforgiven 2001 (Won), Survivor Series 2002 (Won) Royal Rumble 2000 ($9.00), NWO Back in Black that also had a DX DVD with it ($10). Most are used and auctions end soon. :) I really want Royal Rumble 94 but will probably have to get it as tagged classics.

Just watched it there, bizarre. I laughed at the Andre feud part. "He'll learn", you can picture it. :D
Another thing that was brought up in the DVD that I used to think about was mentioning if you beat x in another federation on TV and remembering how everything was hush hush.

    Ha ha.

Im actually pretty impressed with the line up of matches.

WWE are getting better at not duplicating matches on their releases.

Im particularly looking forward to seeing the Austin @ No Mercy match and the Foley retirement match again.

Havnt seen either since they were on TV many moons ago.

I watched the documentary part. It's quite good but it felt a little thrown together too. Also Michaels comes across as being very goofy throughout the whole thing which doesn't add to it. The match compilation looks great though.

I don't have that many wrestling DVDs - never seem to get the time watch the ones I have! I like: Undertaker, This is my yard - I'd watch it a few times a year, but apart from that they just collect dust in my house!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,965 ✭✭✭GhostInTheRuins

I used to be a mad wrestling fan until a few years ago.

I've got ~50-60 VHS tapes of WWF, ECW, IWW and some japanese shows. They're nearly all from 1997-2002, some earlier but none later than 2002. I can't remember what the japanese shows are except for the King of The Deathmatch that Mick Foley won (95 I think).

Anyway, I don't want them anymore and was going to dump them/give them to a charity shop or something but I realised there was a wrestling forum and somebody that wants them could have them.

If anyones interested let me know and I'll throw them up on adverts.ie

Just a quick heads up to people out there.
On amazon.com i managed to pick up the rocks dvd*2,the stone cold dvd and the hhh for €60 including postage.

Mind you its all shipped at the slowest time and wont go till around June 10th but still a amazing saving.
They work out @ €15 each and silvervision are charging from €23 up to €34 for them each.

Obviously region one but who hasn't a multi region dvd player nowadays.
