    Hello :)

Maths - Did a few random exam paper questions.

English - Made out all my notes for After the Titanic and Grandfather by Derek Mahon. I wan't to get him revised by the end of this week :)

Finished Irish oral and music practical! Music went well, was delighted with my four pieces but music tech had a few slips and the program had a error and shut down twice by itself :/ Irish was okay, my poetry and sraith went better than I could have imagined but in the comhra she didn't ask me any of the normal questions that you would prepare so I think I struggled a bit in that! So glad they are over so I can get back to work but I'm wrecked at the moment after everything so I think Ill need to take a few days off!

    Hi Tianna,

I've been studying your log recently and I must say I've been motivated by your work ethic.

As a student who scored very poorly in his mocks (225 points), I have found it difficult to motivate myself even more. However, your diligence is truly inspiring as I have recently taken it upon myself to study more (since November last year, I have not worked).

Alas, I believe you will do extremely well in your Leaving. Again, your work ethic is encouraging and Irish students should take a leaf out of your book.

I have, and I hope it pays off. :) Best of luck in June.

    Regards,

    -Josh

    Hi Josh!

I'm really glad that my study log is proving of some benefit to someone other than myself. I think most people find it hard at some stage to motivate themselves, there have definitely been lapses in my motivation and study!

What I've begun to do over the last week is say to myself that for every 30mins of focused study I do I will get an extra 2 points. It seems silly and is probably unrealistic but it really helps and motivates me :P . So if I do 2 and a half hours of good study a day I will have gotten 10points higher than in my mocks.

By deciding to put in more work you will undoubtedly significantly improve on your mock results!

I never feel like I am doing enough but I'm planning to put in a lot of effort these next final three weeks and we'll see what happens. Thank you very much and best of luck to you too! :)
