Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm pretty sure WHERE depends on the kind of course you're taking-- most of them seem to be around the Boole area at 9:00, so get there a little bit early and follow the massive horde of people lounging around if you can spot it. End time varies a little too, but it's generally around 4 pm. If you google ucc orientation the very first result should give you a list of the courses + dates, and clicking on a course will lead you to a pdf of the day plan.

    Hope that helps! :pac:

There are workshops on Saturday the 6th for this kinda stuff that they don't cover in orientation. :) Cause I was super confused too for a while!

You can get them on the website but they're a nightmare to follow.

Here you go: http://timetable.ucc.ie/programme.asp Select your course and you're given a ridiculously complex timetable. You'll figure it out but it takes a while, you'll need to know your module codes too btw.

Do the time table on a week by week basis . This way it is easy to comprehend .

Yeah I did that, got it eventually.

There's a time slot set aside during orientation anyway to go over it.

    Well hello everyone!

Anyone else dismayed by the €250 vaccination fees for health courses? Ugh.
    Medicine :) what about you?

    Woo medhead buddy!
Not just yet :P ask me again when we get out cadavers :P Are you excited/nervous?

My doctor said they'd be damp, grey, and unwelcoming, somewhat like Donegal :pac:
Access to the Mardyke is included as part of the capitation fee (including free gym classes, which is fantastic) so as such it is free as you don't have to pay anything extra, of all the universities in Ireland its by far the best deal!

Is there anything we should know for Med orientation and registration Eurovisionmad? I'm so worried :o

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,327 ✭✭✭sunbabe08
