Hmmm, well, ok, because they are generally good-looking, slim, more exotic looking and are "a bit of strange". Not hard to understand, is it?

Having said that, I know one Spanish woman who was beaten with the ugly stick and another who is very average. But they are both very slim. So, that is definitely a common denominator in general.

Much like all other populations there are far more Spanish girls under the age of 16 and over the age of 50 than would fall into any category that someone might ****, then you have to take out the fat ones, the ugly ones, the butterfaces etc.

"Generally" good looking is total ****, you should just say "I've seen a few Spanish birds I'd ride so they are stuck in my head as hot".

Like me and Asian chicks. I wouldn't say "Generally Asian chicks are hot" because they aren't...generally speaking all people from all places are ****ing ugly. I've just seen, or sexed, some hot Asian chicks so now i have a taste for Soy.

I do agree, but it's probably some kind of deep-seated evolutionary desire for increased fitness for one's offspring that makes fordiners often seem more attractive. But Spanish ladies undoubtedly are slimmer than us Irish wans in general so if slim is your bag, they'll likely be more to your taste. D'ya know, loike? :cool:

I would like to challenge this if I may. There are plenty of fat Spanish people. I don't know why the Spanish have an apparent reputation of a slim nation. This conclusion I have come to is that you go to a beach in Spain, you see forty/fifty slim, fit españolas sauntering around in biquinis and think "Spanish women are fit!!" Meanwhile what you're not seeing is the couple of hundred fat Spanish women peeking out at the hotties thinking "Skeenny beetch"

Just going by the Spanish girls I've known. One got to nine stone, declared herself a porker and went on a determinedly rigid diet to get off the apparent excess flab.

Few things.... I think they are by a large a good looking bunch of folks and generally slimmer and also the weather means prettier clothes rather than a hoodie and tracksuit bottoms.

I was with an (Irish) man for 9 years. The only word of Spanish he learned in those years was "queso" (cheese) and he didn't learn it from me, he learned it from Scrubs!

He did learn a few naughty words but he forgot the English counterpart. He ran after our dog and, because the dog was near two Spanish ladies yelled "Come back you slut!"

Spanish girls are much more easygoing than Irish ones and not as ignorant like some Irish girls, whilst speaking Spanish or English. Also another factor (and many Europeans have said this) is the amount of make-up Irish girls wear is ridiculous.

To whoever mentioned "muffin-tops" guys aren't much better here either, we only have our drinking and heavy food culture to blame for that!

Maybe in Italy itself, but where I worked in Dublin most of the Spanish and Italian women wore clothes that cost less than my earphones. Alot of them looked homeless tbh.

Yep, they've actually got the highest rate for childhood obesity in the EU, so as fat kids tend to be fat adults this will only get worse.

Yep, good old selective vision. I would still IMHO say though that in general the average say 28 woman(or man) in Madrid or Barcelona is of a smaller frame than the average 28 year old here. We seem to get "middle aged spread" here much earlier. More guys and gals that are slim at 18 are getting porky by 25. We've a small population too so we get fewer extremes. So while I would agree that you do see more gorgeous women in Madrid or Milan, you also see some serious, sweet jesus is that contagious munters too. Overall the Irish tend to be generally more "pleasant" looking without those extremes. We tend to be more solidly built overall as a population. You can really see that in airport queues. The Irish, UK and German lines tend to be stockier compared to the Southern European lines.

They wouldn't be alone in that. That would be a difference I've noticed in other countries(esp the Latin nations) compared to Ireland. You have more women(and men) here that self describe as "big/cuddly/curvy" when they're simply carrying extra fat. Our cultural cut off for porky seems to be at least two dress sizes/belt notches bigger. One ex of mine had a mate whose nickname(if they were being bitchy) was Gordita, little fatty. She was no bigger than a size 12. An Italian ex of mine had a similar sized woman in their group and again she was considered "fat". The rest of the women were size 6/8/10 and among their boyfriends/male mates there were maybe two who had the beginnings of a gut. That seems less culturally acceptable for want of a better word elsewhere again more in the Latin nations(though the Scandinavian and Eastern European nations would be similar IME).
