Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    @KoolKid,

I have this error on my 5320 but on the 4320.
    Nothng chnaged.
Have you seen it before, any ideea ,please !?

    Thanks

SPC Connect was not able to retrieve all information from the Panel. Some of the data has been hidden. This is possibly due to communications being lost with the panel or the User's Panel Connection Details being out of sync (User's pin changed on panel?).

Is the panel offline or have you changed your username or code on that panel?

    Hi KoolKid,

I bought Siemens SPC 4220 in January 2016 came with 3.4.5 version.
Is that upgrade as well for 4220 panels? If so could you please pm me the files.
    Thank you! :)

Lads - I wouldn't go mad wanting to upgrade as a lot of the upgrades are buggie and unless there's something you need in the upgrade then don't upgrade just for the sake of it.

I'll send you 3-7-1 Firmware files.
This is a major upgrade including a major browser rewrite and all the SPC Connect features including email notifications and network up monitoring.

The App is only used for access to the SPC panel.
You wont get notifications using it.

Multiple notifications to multiple email account is possible.
Most good email services are pushed to your phone anyway.
A nice feature many people like to set up is a separate Gmail account and set the email alert as a ringtone. Much more responsive that notification alerts etc.:D

Down side is needing the data connection on your phone.

  • Moderators, Home & Garden Moderators, Technology & Internet Moderators Posts: 24,789 Mod ✭✭✭✭KoolKid

If that's a concern for the customer they can have voice and/or text alerts.
There are plenty of options for text and voice alerts etc for emails.

  • Moderators, Home & Garden Moderators, Technology & Internet Moderators Posts: 24,789 Mod ✭✭✭✭KoolKid

Boards.ie will no longer allow us to share firmware updates here. You will need to contact Vanderbilt or a licenced installer.

    Understood.

Any major benefit for a home user going from 3.6.6 to 3.8?

It sorts out a few issues with some routers not reconnecting on DHCP.
Some slight changes to some browser views.

Thanks, now to try and get the bits to upgrade it.

Any integrations with smart devices? lighting / / switches / door controls?

Also can you integrate a Hikvision NVR to it ?

  • Moderators, Home & Garden Moderators, Technology & Internet Moderators Posts: 24,789 Mod ✭✭✭✭KoolKid

You can integrate X10 devices with a controller into the port in the panel.
Siemens/Vanderbilt also supports integration with HIKVision.
Push notifications are now available on IOS with Android due shortly.

    Thanks.

Any setup guides anywhere for HikVision stuff ?

Looking forward to Push notifications. I am relying on IFTTT to send me an alert if alarm which has a delay.

    thanks for the detail.

Found out the issue with my Panel today is most likely power related. getting that sorted soon.
