Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

That fuel tank still looks fairly healthy though :) How much does it cost to brim it, on average?

not so much, the most i've ever squeezed in is €65, it only has a 55l tank. drives me mad pulling in and putting in €20 here and €30 there because it always seems to be you need to stop when you're in a hurry. it's a more painful pill to swallow but i just brim it, drive it to the fuel light and brim it again.

I generally half fill the mondeo and wait for the light, takes about €50 to half fill it, hence me going no further!!

Different approach with the focus, like yourself about €60ish brims it, but I try not to let it under half way, don't know why. Makes me feel all warm inside when the pin is at the top :P

I always brim my car, it saves time and probably money in the long run. I refill it whenever the range drops to about 100km. I don't let t get lower than that because that means I can always get somewhere in an emergency or something without stopping for fuel.:)

How much petrol my dad's car gets, depends on how much money I have.

    This is mileage....
    2004, so roughly 20k a year.
I've put 61k on since march 2013 though!

Full tank every week, no bolloxin with dribs and drabs here and there, that would drive me apesh*t.

Also have every petrol receipt in the glovebox with the trip mileage on each fill, so I can accurately say how many miles I've put up since I started driving the car and what mpg's I get. Usually 28 average, I do a fair bit of town driving these days. Currently on over 200 miles on the trip since its last fill on Friday morning with just over half a tank, so should take about 30 litres to fill it up, thus I budget for that every week. I don't be too far wrong :D

Costs aprox €90 to fill from empty at €1.50 a litre :)

It's there since I had the Mondeo SCi, can't change it until my credit card limit can take the subscription charge.

Evening spent replacing a few seals to sort some minor oil leaks, and giving the whole engine bay a good clean. Cam cover needs a polish

Did a few small jobs on herself's car for the NCT, might as well scrub it up a bit.
Went away for the weekend, brought the Yaris instead of my car so I could have a few pints, its so modern for a 15 year old model.
Could do with about 50bhp extra though

One of those rare times I leave it in a car park without parallel parking. Even rarer was no one was clung to it when I came back which is usually the case. Success.
