Just got my ego-t.Thanks for all the recommendations--its a great piece of kit--battery lasts all day--nearly 2 if Im lucky. One fill of the tank has done me all day aswell. There really is a serious throat hit off it--probably a bit too much for my liking if Im being honest.

    So what determines throat hit?
Im using the high strength "tobacco" flavour--generic one I suppose.Doesnt have the mg on it--just says "tobacco high" on the bottle.

Maybe its too high?Should I switch to a lower one?Or is there another way of lowering the throat hit a bit?

It's probably 18mg (generally), you could try a lower strength juice and see if that solves the throat hit problem for you. Worth a shot anyway.

Is your e-juice PG or VG? (If it doesn't say on the bottle, it's probably VG.)

You could try some PG juice, for more vapour and less throat hit.
My OH started on the VG, and was complaining that it "burned the lungs out of him".
Switched to PG juice, and problem solved.

You may have it the wrong way round Noreen. PG is the default mainly and VG is considered the liquid that produces more vapour.

yeah, lower mg should do the trick. generally the TH depends on the mg + whether any spices have been added to the blend.

weird problem with one of my new clears

the uh.. part that screws into the battery is staying screwed in.. but the clear plastic cover has become detached from it. so if I push it down, and hold the e-cig upright and steady I can vape.. but if I sit it down or anything it just starts sliding off, exposing the fibre inside.
i still get my flavour and vapour, but.. im kinda worried about how im gona refil the juice... might just have to throw this one out and try another one.

got some marlboro/usa mix yesterday.. trying it today and... gotta say, do not like.

granted it was only 15 odd euro for 50ml, so I'll still use it and will have it for a long time but... meh, so bland

Does anyone know if there are red bull flavour E-juices around? I switched from red cola to RY-4 the other day and when they mixed for the few drags until the RY was properly wicked (soaked into the wick as opposed to wicked like Ali-G would say) it really reminded me of red bull and I liked it.

Not exactly Red Bull but seems close enough:

Ordered some Joye 24 from Irish Vapers yesterday together with some dual coil cartos and a 1300 Ego battery. Placed order at 3.30 and it was dispatched half an hour later and arrived today...great service. He also sent a Giantomizer to try out and a syringe and needle tip. From my experiences the three Irish suppliers I've tried (Vapour Store, Best Shop & IV) give great customer service. The Joye liquid isn't as nice as the VS one but it's growing on me.

This guy mixes his own liquids and has some great flavours especially his RY-4. He sends a free gift..usually a 3ml sample of something...with every order and he has the blue foam which is a much better cartridge filler.

    Hi again everyone,

was telling my neighbour about the irish boards and now she's offering a free 10ml e-liquid with every joye kit (510 or ego) purchased by boards.ie members.
    check it out here

p.s. she's a real nice lady that would go out of her way to make sure you're happy with your purchase

got some stainless dcc's this morning, far better than my clears. the first clear I tried on tuesday worked pretty well even though it kinda fell apart. but the two I tried after just didn't give good vapour or flavour at all, and then they fell apart so i'll be avoiding them in the future. stainless or black all the way.

Time again to get a couple of atties and was wondering if there would be much difference in quality in the genuine eGo-T atties and the other ones available from thebestshop.eu ?

    http://www.thebestshop.eu/atomizers/new-ego-t-a-mega-atomizer/prod_185.html

Also, thinking strongly about getting The Screwdriver MK2.
    http://www.cavecom.com/screwdriver/shop/010silvermk2custom.htm

Think a few posters got one of these a while back, was it money well spent and what are the BE112 Atomisers like?
Would imagine battery costs would be alot cheaper over time anyway.
Better device compared to the eGo-T?

BE112 attys are really good. The distance between the coil and the mouthpiece makes for very smooth vaping. You get four in the deal which is helpful as one of mine is not great on vapour but the other three are flying.
Also, there are rumours of a BE112 tank version... watch this space I guess.

eGo-T - ? Tried the TW version and with the 1000mah battery it is a close run between the two.
Comparing Tank and fluval I prefer the tank. Got the 2ml on order.

Hard to say which I prefer. The SD is a bit steam punk. Good for home use or places where you get too many jobs worths - tell them it's a medical device and they back off.

The eGo with the mega battery is very like a 42 gauge cigar.

Cool trick - get the Zippo app and use it to "light" your eGo

Yeah seems hard to find one of those Don's for sale online.
Good for you getting that LG for free and confusing me more in the process on what long term device to get :D
Definitely gonna invest in the Bulli A2-T Atomiser though.

Thats the one, button is more like the ego batteries though. When I couldn't get the Don I asked what to get as im going to a music festival on friday and wanted a long lasting battery mod for it and he just offered it to me!! Its nothing fancy or anything but it works perfectly and has a button at the bottom to turn it off so it wont go off in my pocket which is great

Anyone have any ideas about why TBS haven't restocked so much of their stuff in so long?

Also I'm just wondering about those PCC cases, specifically the 510 ones. A lot of online videos say that these kits come pre-packed with a 510 battery yet the two Irish sites selling the unit don't mention it. Anyone bought one?

I love the 510-T but the battery issue is my only reason for not fully switching over from having an ego setup nearly always to hand.

Got 10 ml 11mg Premium Tobacco Mint juice from theBestShop.eu and i love it but went through it too quickly so ordered it at 18mg and hopefully that might slow me down a bit.
Also ordered Double/Mint Green mint from there at 11mg.
Got a eGo-T B type cylinder atty today and so far bit disappointed with it regards throat hit and in comparison to A type atties using same juice or maybe it will improve.

Anyone else do this to their tank cartridge?

that happened to one of my tank cartridges by accident once, it made a bit of a difference but nothing huge

dont see myself going back to the tanks now that i've discovered dual coil's anyway. I was saying I'd be going between tanks and dcc's when i first got the dcc, but after 2 weeks using them... im sold. little bit awkward to fill, and it can use quite a bit of juice but.. the vape and flavour is worth it
