    IMO no one should have the right to insists their OH remains faithful if they withhold sex whereby they only have sex once a month.

    That should be a crime against humanity.

    Crime against humanity is probably a bit strong, but agreed. Witholding intimacy is pretty horrible.
    I don't think a relationship can work without it (other than a platonic one).
    Hopefully the husband has the sense to find himself a good woman who's fond of an aul ride!

    While he may like to do so, if they are married so long that sex is down to once a month (how long does it take for that to happen in marriage?), he may not be able to make the break?

    I was already skeptical but when I read that line I really didn't believe it- it's too OTT, especially in the written form.

    I do believe that there are people out there who think what her husband is doing is some sort of sin or betrayal but I think that particular letter is bull. Just the way it's written doesn't wash with me.

    Whether it was the Irish Times made it up themselves or some idiot with too much time on their hands wrote it, the Times are pathetic for printing it. As I said, I do believe that people who see masturbation as a sin exist- but the way it's written is just ridiculous.

    A couple of years ago I saw some random american propaganda tv film on rte late at night. The story goes that a mother kinda catches her son looking at porn..somehow the kid **** and looking at porn habit spirals out of control and gets expelled from school...girlfriend dumps him.
    Meanwhile the mother finds out the husband has had a few thugs of wood in the past and now has rekindled his relationship with a keyboard and mouse. The mother meets another women who is going to a divorce because her husband gets addicted to online porn.
    I think the son dies in the end.

    Was just ruminating. If, lets say, a guy was right-handed but on occasions like special Feast Days etc he used his left hand ......... would the right hand be within it's rights to feel cheated?
