Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

thanks for that guys, really helpful.... how do the hotel and buses compare to the camping, like would it kill any of the buzz for ya missing late night stuff?

  • Registered Users Posts: 525 ✭✭✭fluff_daddy

Was here in 2012 and got the hotel package, it was pretty expensive but I didnt mind that. Worst part about the hotels is that they are all at least 20 mins away and a taxi is like 100 euro :( There are buses to and from included but chances are your not gonna make all these.

PS: In case anyone didn't know the pre-registration is open today!

What the hell do you do though after 12 am or 1am when the music stops, is there after hours entertainment, other stages in the periphery that go on to 4am or is there night clubs in towns nearby.

If you want to get into it, you got to get out of it. (Hawkwind 1982)

There is another stage in Dreamville where it goes on until 4am.

Tomorrowland stands out on its own when it comes to Dance festivals in Europe.(i.m.o) Theres Ultra if your willing to travel to Miami.

Nothing beats Tomorrowland... It's more than just the music and the setting.... I've always struggled to articulate what the experience is about... Its amazing!!!

Pre registered there anyway, hopefully get lucky as I'm guessing it's going to be the lottery it was the last time, if not worse!

Do I need the names of the people I am buying tickets for ? Or is ok if I just buy 4 tickets in my name. Great chance I say of getting tickets this year with double the amount available than last year.

I can definitely recommend getting the Easy Tent packages. No lugging tents and gear around, they cost extra as baggage anyway. Arrive at the festival, check in and you're escorted to your tent (specially made for the festival,a real keepsake) complete with blow up bed, sleeping bag, lamp and numbered so they are easy to find. Flushing toilets and hot showers are also provided in this campsite and it's the closest one to the festival arena. It's quite a walk from Dreamville.

Let Be, I'm not 100% sure as we didn't manage to get tickets last year, as far as I'm aware it was the first year this was introduced.

Ah right hope I can just get 4 without having to put names on them as I defo need the four but no idea who will want them yet!

If you get 4 you'll have no shortage of friends

Thanks for that Trancechick, the thought of travelling to another country and lugging tent gear was seeming like a bit of a nightmare, Easy Tent package seems ideal.

twice as many tickets is right so that means it will sell out in 10 seconds instead of 5 like last year :/

I'm sure they said that they could have sold it ten times over with everyone that registered in 2013.

That's nuts, I hope the people who get tickets are the people who actually want them and not those out to make a quick bit of money.

Was in Dreamville last year and that certainly didn't happen!

Usually people just chill at the campsite, it's quite a nice wind down...have a few beers, listen to some music, chit chat about the day. You'd be wrecked after a hard day at it anyways - the music starts at 3pm I think and you are going til 1 or half past.

Got a global journey ticket from London - they don't sell out as quickly

Would love to go again this year...though the price of the Global Journey ticket from London has gone up 100 euro bringing it to 770 quid. Quite steep!

When i was there in 2013 the stage was still rocked at 4 unless things changed in the last year. We done the same as yourself in regards to relaxing afterwards,Went back to the tent(Easy tent) and got cans then walked down to the stage had a few cans and back to the tent later. Chilled out on the wee bank behind the covered tent which was cool.

Some of our group did the Eurostar package from London in 2012. They are expensive but worth it

Do you know to get the begian Tickets you need to be in belgium to get the tickets and require a belgian passport. It could be changed since but i remember friends of friends got these tickets but couldn't get over or pick them up.

Could be proof of belgian address that is required.

Edit: I could be very wrong but look into it,I don't want you blowing money and actually unable to receive the tickets.

I actually have no idea now but usually a week/3 days before the global ones. I think they arecleaver in regards to showing this detail as you may need a Belgian IP address for the website.

Lads- anyone know what the craic is with the Belgium pre-sale? If a Belgium friend gets me two tickets (they won't be going) and then we personalise the tickets in our own names, will there be a problem getting in? I reckon once the wristbands match the name on the passport, that would be fine for the ID check, but I can't find a definite answer on this! Also, for the Belgium presale, is a Belgium address sufficient or is a Belgium credit card needed too?

No safes in the campsite that i remember,There is safes once you pass security heading into tomorrowland itself tho if your in the main arena and want to have your belongings safe.

    from the website

You can store your valuable belongings & clothing, without having to worry about loss or theft. We ask for a small contribution for hiring a locker during the weekend/ day.

The lockers can be found at the festival & campsite. During the opening hours, lockers are continuously under surveillance. The lockers are always accessible for the people who rent them.

Lockers for Tomorrowland (not DreamVille) can be bought in advance.

SIZE: You can share 1 locker with 2 or 3 friends. You can store a few jackets, sweaters, T-shirts, shoes,… A trolley is too big to fit in the locker whereas a backpack would fit easily.
