Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Can you explain, maybe link to a pic or something.

More specifically re-upholstery, a more permanent solution than covers. The kinda stuff taxi drivers would fit as an aftermarket alternative to leather. Something like what this company do but doesn't have to be leather:

    http://www.cucupholstery.com/

The car I bought for my wife before Xmas was not in a good condition interior wise, we had it valeted but still not as good as we'd like. The condition was factored into the purchase price :D

Anyone know any company fitting leather-type (maybe some sort of rubber) car covers. I know there was a company operating out in briar hill but think they may have disappeared along with the boom !!

There is (was?) a place in Glenrock Business park - in Ballybane. I'm not sure of the name, but they do car re-upholstery/ custom interiors.
they're beside the I-Supply unit, near McDonaghs Hardware.
I haven't passed by there in a few months, so hope they're still there.

Both have websites, perhaps check there and compare prices on a few items both have. Or drive over and check, I find B&Q garden good but have never compared prices with Woodies.

So do Euro2, for a lot nicer price. Can't speak for quality, but hell, it's a bit of very common cable ...

Have you tried any butchers at all? Some used to sell skins I know, or else they may have contact details of someone who does.

    Hi everyone!

I'm looking for Haggis in Galway city or county. Anyone seen it for sale anywhere this week?

MCDonagh's have it on their menu for takeaway/eat-in purposes. I like the one they do.
Think I may have seen it in the fish& chip place on Cross st too.

Not sure if you wanted to cook it yourself
& it's probably way too late to be much help to you anyway.

    I'm looking for:

    - Glassware (old bottles, )

How old? I have several Hobgoblin bottles which are brown 500ml and seem to be custom designed for the Wychwood company that brews that beer. I stopped throwing them in the bottlebank thinking they were too nice to just get smashed up & recycled.
Thought I had somebody who wanted bottles for homebrew but he had enough.
Have some clear glass bottles too done for other specialist beer companies.

If you're in Galway it's got to be Peter Curran Electrical. In the unlikely event that he doesn't have them there are plenty of other wholesalers on the same road.

Kelly Office Supplies have office furniture in their shop and they're nice to deal with. They're down at Nile Lodge.

Doctor Faller in the Crescent used to have a cryoclinic, but that was years ago. He still might.

Somewhere in the city that sells jeans with a waist of 33inches and a leg of 34 inches. Everywhere has 32/34 or 34/34 and I am exactly in between sizes.

I thought most jean manufacturers sold in even sizes. If you want an in-between size you might need to get the next size up & then take them to one of the sewing adjustment places around town.

Im similar but just always do with the 34 and find them grand. Stevolendes suggestion would be the next best.

Woodys DIY always have a big range. The branch at Well Park is a better store than the Headford Road one IMO.

    Folks,
    See attached photo.

The piece at the bottom of the zip broke off. It's the small metal piece that guides one zip into the other, and then you zip up (great explination I know)

I have the old broken piece so I know what size I need. Can anyone put me in the right direction here? It's not off a jacket so kind hard to bring it into a shop, but can do if needs be.

    Cheers

I am pretty certain that you will have to replace the zip or work around it. I don't think that you can get spares. If you can get the zip fastened then you can put some stitches or a small zip tie to hold it together. You will still be able to operate the zip but not separate the two halves.
