How do people get all these deals??

Just see them randomly in store?

Most seem to be in the store specific reduced price shelves (short dated items or items that have hard to shift and are not sent back to the warehouse are put on sale on those shelves). That is why people should be more specific in their postings as to whether it is a generally available or store specific offer. Otherwise people are going to be sent on wild goose chases to their local Tesco.

inversoft toilet tissue 16 rolls for 3.50, seems as good value as before that it was on 'special offer' for 7 euro.

Thanks so much for posting about these. It was actually marked at €7.00 but scanned at €3.50. I got 4 packs which should last a month or two. I should have gotten more but there was only one left so I left it for another bargain hunter:cool:

There seemed to be a good few bargains around in Mahon(I was on my lunch break so I couldn't do a thorough search:() There were Shelf labels for a few of the choco bargains but most sold out expect for matchmakers in orange at 86c and orange and lemon jelly type things for about 40c

There was a "basket o crap" near the televisions. I got a couple of dish brushes (50c and 26c) and other random things. Prices ranged from 5c for a knife sharpener to to €2 for something I can't remember. Other items included mashers/hooks/reading light thingy and so on. There could have been something amazingly fantastic in there but I didn't have the time to get to the bottom of the basket:(

Also on offer were the "Wenger" bag range that you needed to collect tokens for last year. Backpacks @ €6 ranging up to €18 for some bag I can't remember:o There were other items in this clearance section such as tents but there may have been other stuff (near the tellies again)

Random deals in the cereals (Like Tesco non-brand own brand maple and pecan crisp for 83c) and a few more reductions

Might head back there or to another branch to look for the Denby range. Or if anyone has spotted them in any COrk branch can they let me know.

Also some acoustic guitar for €15 and telescope/keyboard/some other stuff reduced in the computer accessories/games aisle

Went back to Mahon to get another of the wenger bags but they were all gone:( Should have gotten the bigger one earlier as it seemed really good quality.

However the below almost made up for it

    images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRIaH7tEuWdFhqmGSPFtdO_vxUXOAu-V7e2i6zBulj9DP_m-lQ2
6 Walnut whips for only 90c:pac: Loads more of the Inversoft loo roll there aswell so I got one more pack.

Both price scanners broken which is a bit annoying. I often find bargains by scanning stuff I have seen reduced on HUKD but I hate asking them to price check at the checkouts so feel I am possibly losing out on mega bargains!

Lots of bargains around this time of year for some reason! Had a look back to this time last year and there were plenty around too. Morphy Richard Accents Plum kettle down to €10 in Tesco Midleton (none left now but worth a look in other stores)
    31bS2h4UpAL._SL500_AA300_.jpg
Hartleys Orange Jelly granules 23c, Angel Delight Icecream (!) 23c, some fancy smancy candle matches for 66c

I saw a SEL on a staff trolley thing which had some thorntons gift box down to 1c:eek: but no sign of actual thorntons for one cent.

Think I'll go to Tesco (again) tomorrow as I've an old filofax and it would be great to get the refill for 19c and to look out for the other bargains mentioned. Edit - was it the actual entire filofax for 19c?!

They had some in arklow last week with yellow stickers reduced to 40 something ? It was the james martin everyday set I think not the standard denby boxed set.
They also had a Gordon Ramsey set reduced to 24 but only in blue, and a couple of tesco own branded sets.

Not a bargain for a CL6 card- if you go to Memoryc.com (who are an Irish company) its actually cheaper for an identical card there. If it were MicroSD and CL10- I'd consider it. Its seriously not a bargain though- even at 11e.......
