Thanks OP, will use it for €20 off €100 worth of Lego in Tesco on Sunday.

Even the lego in Tesco is always very expensive ( except if its on a 'Tesco' offer ). You'd probably pick up similar lego online for the €80 to be honest.

It's a bit early for me to figure things out, are you saying there are two vouchers in the S. World today, one for Lidl and one for Aldi?

I have an €11 off a €70 shop voucher for Tesco, can I add the €20 Aldi voucher to that? I am new to this Tesco multi voucher acceptance development! I presume it will need to be a €100 shop in the first instance which will leave me within the range for the Tesco voucher to be used?

I used the aldi, Lidl and €11 tesco off 100 shop, I was told once it goes over 100 you can use 2 competitor vouchers together,

Is that confirmed anywhere in the shop or on the tesco website? Forty one euro off a €100 shop would be a great discount.

I think he missed the boat with the Lego,it was all reduced to half price or less last weekend.Typical that I didn't have a voucher then. (Still saved a fortune though)

Fair play to Lidl & Aldi with the vouchers, the missus compared to similar shops she did recently,Dunnes worked out at €30 more expensive than Aldi,we don't do grocery shopping in Tesco but going by accounts of people it's as dear.

Lidl valid to close of business Sat 27th Dec

They never print them in the light version, it was mentioned here before, it's usually a free copy

    Hi all

Does anyone know if all Tesco stores accept these Aldi & Lidl vouchers from the newspaper?

I am in Waterford- anyone know if the stores here accept them

Also, just wondering can these vouchers be used together for one shop?

    Thanks

Its been reported on BA that if you hand the driver the voucher it will be credited to your account.

I have the 20 euro voucher for ALDI but I don't know their products all that well.
What "high end" expensive items would you recommend? I am thinking steak and maybe some wine?

    Bushmills @ E18 a bottle. 30 year old Port either E30 or E50 a bottle.

Lots of expensive and middle range bottles of wine as well. I just bought a bottlr of Valpaolicella Ripasso Superiore (whatever that is) for E9.99, but it won a silver medal at the IWSC this year, so it should be allright.

Their dry aged vacuum packed fillet and rib-eye steaks are georgeous.

Actually just happened on this link for Aldi in the UK, but most of the stuff will be on sale here as well

Tesco in new Ross accept each voucher per 50 euro, they took one of each from me, I checked with manager in advance, so if you spend over €100 they are happy to take two together, stops getting messy and doing 2 transactions,

I also had €11 tesco off €70 spend, so I got all 3 coupons off my shopping,

I was in Aldi today and got great value for a €107 spend ( €87 net of the voucher )...cracking value.

and speaking of lego, my 2 can't get enough of the stuff, they had 4 different types of those lego brickmaster boxes ( including 1 star wars ) for €10 each which is absolutely brilliant value for Lego (normally retail at circa €20 each). Great value, typical Aldi, no fuss just great value.

Similar to this one on Amazon....

Tried this during the week to no avail,Despite saying others have used them.
May just be down to individual drivers and what information they have, will try it this week and hopefully will work.

Chance an email to clarify, they might credit it to your account. (Maybe point out your loyalty in using the voucher with them rather than just heading to Aldi. (and the inconsistencies between areas!)). IIRC, to their credit they are fairly quick to respond, and helpful.

Did you put that through all as one shop or did you need to split to use the 2 vouchers? Heading to Tesco tomorrow, would be nice to have it sussed before I go in. Have around 110 euro worth of shopping to do

It appears to be purely random what they will and won't take in one go. You won't be able to split as one voucher is off 100 and the other off 50; so all you can do is try both - offer the Aldi one first obviously.

You could have purchased a Tesco gift card to bring you over €100. Works for me.

Yeah all in one go, I actually didn't even have the lidl one, the cashier guy told me he had a few spare and gave me I'll!

As Supervalu are a franchise it would be almost certainly down to an individual franchise owners decision to take them or not - its definitely not chainwide.

Picked up 2 copies of the Sunday world yasterday for the gift cards.

Anyway 1st thing I did was use one of the aldi 20 euros off on a 100 euro gift card. Then I used another 20 euro one on another 100 euro give card.

So far for 160 euro I have 200 euros to use in tesco.

Then when paying for the shopping once the it reached 50 I used the 1st 10 euro off in lidl then when paying for it all I used the next 10 euro off.

So In the end I saved 60 euros off my x mess shop thanks op maybe bargin of the year for my mother anyway.

email customer.services@lidl.ie - hang on to the paper, they'll look for the front page as proof of purchase.

    In case people dont know.

YOu can use the lidl/aldi vouchers to buy gift cards in tesco...adding to your savings.:)

anyone who's thinking of buying thinking of a new fone....

never thought of that and I'm switching to the tesco network next month meaning ill be able to get the S5 for 159 instead of 199 on a contract for the price of two newspapers

you can get 40 off the value of a new fone if its prepay only

they wont let you use the giftcard to get a billpay fone cheaper sadly
lucky for me I rang them and the guy I spoke with didn't know either
