Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It's a strange phenomenon really but happens quite a bit. Maybe they thought your car looked lonely and needed a bit of company. Maybe they're just gob****es. Who knows.

Yeah reson being there's plastic screw bits lodged in the holes and the plster holder screw wont go in the whole way, hence the wonkyness

I like it too, but I seem to be in the minority and like the newest models look even more. Honda was the first to have a futuristic looking can and then the rest all followed.

Wouldnt be a huge fan of Pugs but that 406 is fairly aggressive looking

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,846 ✭✭✭Moneymaker

Always loved the 406. It's styling was away ahead of its time imo.

Plus it was in Ronin so that makes it cool by default :pac:

    That was a 3.0 V6 though!!

Remember being at the 406 launch in 1996 and thought it was like something from space! Still an attractive car and so much better than the 407.

Its not a seat cover. Just a bit of plastic. Seat was still slightly wet from wet vac valet. Its off now.

Be sure and watch the oil level like a hawk. The way the dpf works means that it can dilute the engine oil with diesel. If it rises you need to consider an oil change. If you do town driving consider 10k intervals and weekly checks.

Lovely cars though, liked mine a lot.

I always get my cars serviced every 10,000km. And after owning an Alfa before I think its just habit that I check the oil regularly but thanks for the heads up. Had read about that online too. Hope I'm not starting one big headache of diesel problems. Only time will tell I suppose.
