I know changing regions loses your balance, but if you have a €0 balance, can you switch to US shop, spend all your dollars, switch back and have both US and EU purchases tied to the same account?

Don't change regions. Set up a new account called BanjoUSA, add dollars to it and use that. You can keep separate Euro, Dollar and Yen balances on your Switch. The only think you can't do (if you want to keep your balance) is to switch an existing profile to a different region.

Separate profiles = no problems.

They are the best fun with groups

I've only played Quiplash out of the games included in Party Pack 3, not sure about the others but I did hear good things about the murder mystery game. Fibbage / Quiplash / Drawful are their best games IMO.

Played the two games that can be played with just 2 players over the weekend and it was good fun. Bigger groups would be better, especially in the murder mystery game and it's 'chased by ghosts' finishing round.
