Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ate in Bridge Street Tolteca on Friday night (opening night) and it was savage. I have no incentive to ever go back to Cantina again unfortunately, as aside from their location being a bit off the beaten track, their food just wasn't on par with the likes of Boojum (and now Tolteca)

We somehow walked right by it. Girl at Bridge Mills handed us a flyer as we walked towards Monroe's. Was it behind us? Ended up in Boojum, no regrets.

I haven't been to Cantina and probably won't bother after reading the posts above, I ate in Tuco's on abbeygate street a couple of weeks ago and I thought it was class, will give Tolteca a try next

    +1 Tucos.

Had the Pulled Pork Tacos there, absolutely faultless. Portion size isn't massive, but it's a good lunch for a fiver. Flavour is just out of this world.

got handed the flyer for the new tolteca on bridge st and in i went, pulled pork burrito for a fiver, was lovely too, cant go wrong for a fiver, personally i think 7.50 for any burrito is overpriced anyway, unless its a meal deal,5-6 euro for a burrito on its own..MAX, do that and you will have regular customers so long as foods good.

I noticed that O'Beirne's pharmacy had a large ad in last week's Advertiser, being very specific about how much cheaper they are for all sorts of prescription items.

Was kinda sceptical, but decided to give it a go, and mightily impressed: an item I get regularly has been approx E18 at Boots and E16 at Cara - but only E12 at O'Beirne's today.

I'm not connected to them in any way, just thought the difference was large enough to mention.

Saw the ad last week too, seemed impressive in terms of the price differences available, for those in need of prescriptions.

Know someone who looked into O'Beirnes last week too and was shocked at price differences. Really helpful staff too. She emailed them a list of all her meds and they replied with an itemised list an hr later. One med is usually only prescribed for one week at a time but she's on it full time. They offered her a special discretionary price on it due to her circumstance.
Nice to able to highly praise a local business, their service really was streets ahead.

They have put their prices online too. Why do they not publicise that more?
