Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just logged in and found Duff is in my starting 11 ffs. That wasn't meant to happen!

    Last minute changes.

Armband from Costa to Aguero, with the amount captaining Aguro, not sure I can take a chance on a differential, and Downing benched in place of Siggy.

I'm benching Siggy. Looking at the stats he's done nothing away from home since the first day of the season. Taking a punt on Wanyama.

    Krul
    Baines Moore Bertrand
    Wanyama Fabregas Sanchez ADM
    Costa Aguero (c) Austin

    stats mean nothing

It'll be interesting to see the captains numbers for the top teams the ownership was pretty close I would imagine most would go for Aguero too though.
    70/30 split maybe?

Hazard as captain it is. Chill out and wait for lineups now :)

    Guzan(Gilks)
    Baines Moore Clyne (Duff, Dummett)
    Hazard AdM Sanchez Siggy (King)
    Costa(VC) Rooney Austin

    No hits

Not really surprising. Ben Dinnery has said all week that Baines was highly doubtful.

    krul
    duff clyne moore
    sanchez ADM downing tadic
    pelle costa(C) Aguero

    jakupovic cattermole chambers N taylor

didn't get a chance to log on this morning, so captaincy remains with costa. Will probably have first two subs coming in with downing looking like being out and with uncertainty over moore.

I'm pretty much the only person in top 10 of my league that went aguero captain! a lot went Costa over him and some still don't have him .
one lad who moved above me has Pelle and Berhainho up top. pelle captain . surely to god I'll pass him . if not I give up

He came into my transfer thinking way more than I was comfortable with last night.
It's looking more and more like he's a regular starter and seems to be getting a bit of confidence back. I'll wait to see how the team shapes up/plays when Falcao returns

Fabregas is my only injury worry.

Had my team and captain picked since before the international break. Hoping for a big haul by Aguero!!

Costa hat trick and an Aguero red card is all I want. Us Costa owners are due a break

    Going with:

    Heaton
    Baines Moore Clyne
    Downing Hazard(vc) ADM Sanchez
    Aguero(c) Welbeck Pelle

    Boyd, Yun, Chambers

I'm expecting to need Boyd and Yun to come in for Baines and Downing so a cheeky 1-0 Burnley, Boyd winner would be delightful. I'll accept Costa assists as long as they're to Hazard :pac:

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,088 ✭✭✭Nib

    Guzan
    Duff Chambers Bertrand Baines
    Di Maria Fabregas Tadic
    Costa Aguero(c) Welbeck

    Subs: Siggy Brady Wisdom

Decided to bench Siggy who is poor away from home and start Duff who will have a decent chance of a CS away to stoke.

This is the week Welbeck is going to explode into life. I can feel it in my waters. :D

I think people benching Chambers are mad, he got a goal and an assist against Burnley only two games ago.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,254 ✭✭✭shano_88

    De Gea
    Chambers Clyne Jagielka
    Siggy Sanchez Fabregas Tadic
    Costa Aguero (c) Naismith

Happy enough. Naismith out for Austin next week.

He's also a card magnet and Arsenal are poor at the back. He starts for me but not holding out much confidence!

Most of Siggys points/goals for Swansea have come away from home when you look back to last year.

I put him at the end of the bench to make sure he won't bring another 0 into my team. His goal and assist were nice to have but all we expect from him now are clean sheets against weak teams. Against United yellow card is very likely.

In the matches we haven't kept a cleanie, his points totals are: 1,0,1,1,0,0. I don't have too much hope that we'll keep one against Rooney, RvP, and ADM

A CS against United is a real possibility. United are woeful (kills me to say that). 18 points v Burnley GW10 and 0 points v Swansea GW11, consistency is not his strong point. :pac: Reminds me of James Chester, you never know what you're going to get.

Looks like Siggy will come into my team anyway as there's a good possibility Baines won't play according to Twitter. Garbutt likely to come in for him.

52.9% of the top 10k went Aguero (c) 37 different captain picks is quite a surprise. Have to wonder what some people are thinking!

Went with Costa as captain, although I am slightly worried that Jose has said he is completely over his injury. Knowing Jose he will probably bench him now
