On his way back to CTU, jack is stopped by a member of the Garda Síochana. The guard (out in LA as part of an international sting operation on people-trafficking) asks Jack "is that your car??"

Jack replies "no, it belongs to CTU" to which the guard says "Right, are you insured to drive this vehicle??" to which Jack replies "Ask CTU, I think I am"

The guard, feeling all powerful, aks Jack "why isn't there tax on the windscreen??"

Jack is understanbly getting p1ssed off at Sgt Mulrooney's actions and punches him in the face. But the Sergent has recieved plenty of ounches over the years, and laughs it off.

The guard says,.....

As Jack walks around a corner, he's jumped by two figures dressed in black. Jack is beaten to the ground but manages to get back on his feet & punches one of his attackers in the face & hears a grunt of a female voice. As he looks down he sees that it his old flame Nina Myers unconscious on the ground. As the shock kicks in he hears a gun being cocked. He looks around and sees to his absolute horror that the other attacker is......

Ah come on that was where I was going......

Jack soon discovers that the remote for the TV is a 4in1 and has a setting for an AK48.

He rings Chloe to gain instructions for this strange remote control, know that she is under contract terms to deal with all technical stuff even if he could use the damn thing.

Chloe: Jack, the president is on the line.
Jack: No time chloe I have found the remote for the AK49.
Chloe: Where?
Jack: In my living room, can you download the instruction book to me?
Chloe: What kind of ****ing remote control is this.

Different screens appear, one of Willie O'Dea leaving RTE studios, another of the US president holding on to speak with Jack, another of the AK48 leaving with the terrorist, and another of jack's remote control downloading the instruction booklet.
