    Hi All,

I've seen on other groups that people have set up facebook pages for chatting and sharing stuff and also organizing meet ups around the country. I wonder would anyone be interested in us doing the same?

No idea how to do it but maybe someone know facebook better than I?

Hi guys, hope everyone is doing well! I've recently had my big scan and found that my baby is pretty small for dates and I have a circumvallate placenta! I have to see a specialist on Tuesday but based on those 2 things I'm probably looking at an iugr diagnosis! I'm told not to worry so I'm trying not to outwardly worry but inside I'm a mess and very anxious! I hope everybody is doing good! This pregnancy lark can be tricky business sometimes

Hi Emma, it must be scary to get news like that but I hope the docs gave you plenty of information and were able to reassure that all will be well. Take care, look after yourself.

A girl, that is exciting. how are you with your list of names?

Hopefully all is ok with the little lady Emma. When will you find out more?

Actually dying with some kind of dose since yesterday, going to beg doctor for antibioticts today.
21 weeks today, my little man is super active all day now

How is everyone, quiet here lately

I have a dentist appointment this morning, feeling very sorry for myself. But have my 3D scan in a couple of weeks and can't wait to see the little bub. The tiredness is shocking, it hasn't lifted at all, I'm so tired I could sleep on a bed of nails.

I'm pretty scared to be honest! Sonographer couldn't really say much! I'm not sure if she is allowed! She just told me not to worry, handed me a leaflet about still births and told me to keep track of my baby's movements! I'm in on Tuesday with the consultant so hopefully I will have more answers then but appears its going to be a very bumpy ride from here until the end!

That is unbelievable. I can not believe she would hand you a leaflet like that and then send you off. You poor thing, you must be up to 90. Would you ring you GP to book and appointment and go in to talk to them about it? To try and put your mind at rest? Stress isn't good for you or bubs.

The condition is rare so I would be surprised if my gp could tell me anything about! I was in work all last week but I'm struggling to keep it together esp with hyperemesis so I took yesterday and today off.

How did the dentists visit go?

That is horrendous treatment, You poor lady.
I'd be ringing maternity for a second opinion

To be fair I don't think she was allowed to say much! Holles street send their patients to a private clinic for 20 week scan and then send results back to hospital! As soon as she finished the scan she rang the hospital and set up an appointment with a specialist! She isn't a doctor so I don't she is able to say much herself! Tuesday can't come quick enough though! I have sooo many questions

You should write them down Emma, I always forget questions I wanted to ask until I'm half way home. I hope the weekend flys by and you're feeling better.

Dentist was fine! He's so nice, I always dread it but it was fine. Got a filling, but he said the rest of my teeth look perfect so that's good news.

Yeah I'm writing all my questions down because I'm such a scatterbrain at the moment!

Hope you treated yourself to something nice after your visit! ðŸ˜

Had my appointment today! Baby has come on soooo much! The protein overdose is clearly working a treat as consultant is not in the least concerned about her size! I will have to go to regular growth scans because I've started now but he genuinely seemed to have no concerns at all! It looks like a circumvallete placenta is absolutely no cause for worry either! Dr Google has struck again scaring the bejaysus out of ppl for no reason! I'm so relieved and delighted but also feel like a moron for being so worried when there is nothing wrong!

Hope everyone is doing well today :-)

Fantastic news Emma!!! Can't imagine the relief you must feel!

Got a delivery of maternity stuff from New look today including a new coat, I'll finally have clothes that fit again!

Thanks guys! Total mood turn around today despite the bug in the house and the mountains of pukey pillows and duvets to wash lol smallies have zero aiming skills when sick! Bucket/basin completely redundant lol they ganged up on me too! Started puking all over their beds at the exact same time... What are the odds?!?

What is the new look stuff like quality wise? I never even thought to look there...

Oh no, how many have you got? Nothing worse than drying things in this weather!!!

The quality is good enough, I got a parka and its gorgeous, the tops are a bit thin but they're only for a few months so grand for the price, I'm fairly tall too (5ft9 or so) so I usually take a 14, but order a 16 in New look for tops sleeves and body to fit..

I only have 2 but the way I wrote that you would think I have loads! Maybe because that's how it feels sometimes lol

Ill have to have a look on their site. I'm very slight so I find it really hard to find maternity clothes to fit me nicely

Hope they get well soon! We're house bound the past week with her second dose of hand foot and mouth in about 6 weeks..

The jeans I got are great, they're actually tight like normal skinny jeans versus the ones I got in next which hang around the knees

Yeah that's the problem I'm having with the mamas and papas skinnys! They start the day grand but by the end of the day I have a serious case of saggy knees!

The hand foot and mouth is an awful dose! Poor little pet! :-(

I have my anomaly scan tomorrow and I'm torn as to whether to find out sex of baby. This is second and I didn't on first. Did you all find out?

I found out on all of mine! Me and my husband always make a lovely day of it! Have the scan , then go for food and talk names and rooms etc! I have loved that day on all 3 as much as I love the day they are the born! My logic is I dont need a surprise on the day because I get to hold them!

I have found as well that I bond with bump so much more after the 20 week scan! I just enjoy that scan so much I never understand why ppl give me the whole "aw would you not like a surprise?" routine lol

    Yeah we found both times.
Finding it easier to bond with my little man after finding out. Also, easier for my toddler to understand she's getting a brother rather than "a baby"

Another silly thing, I hate(and can't wash) light coloured neutral baby clothes, so I'd rather know to have bits picked up!

Turns out that I didn't need much persuading so we asked for the gender at this morning's scan. Typically, the little munchkin was hiding the key pieces of anatomy. The sonographer eventually managed to identify what she was certain was labia so we're fairly certain it's a girl :) So delighted. I would have been happy with either but I always thought I'd eventually yearn for a girl and it would put pressure on me to for a third time. Due date still around 17/18 April :)

Awww great news! I cried when I found out I was having a girl after having a boy lol the sonographer didn't know what to do! Enjoy bonding with your little girl now! :-D

Congrats girls! I can honestly say, the bond I have with my little girl is phenomenal, She's my best friend, makes Me laugh like no other and is my biggest cheerleader and She's only 3!!

Looking forward to see how it is this time with a boy! Hubby isn't into sports or anything overly manly so he'll probably be doing make up/cooking with zoe and I too!

Anyone still getting the occasional cramp? Bump is taking a growth spurt and my lower back is cramping at time and it occasionally goes into my hip on the right side. I presume it's the extra weight and pressure but can't help and get freaked out
