Yeah a few, even though the standard kit is very good!
    - Lapiz blue

    - DSG
    - 19" Pretorias
    - keyless
    - tech pack (free) - Nav, rear camera, light assist

I was into the dealers today. A couple of Passat highlines in the showroom, estate and saloon. Must say the estate is really impressive. The car is in a different league to its predecessor!

    oooh.
    Very nice.

not much more you could add really :)

Yeah, This is the first Passat that appealed to me.

Getting impatient now as I am sure you are :)

While the Fiesta's exterior has aged well I find the interior hasn't aged as well which seems to be a Ford bugbear. The interior feels 6 years old these days, some of the plastics used are just as cheap looking as Hyundais or other such crap, as you put it.

When the fiesta first came out the dash centre was designed using mobile phones of the time as a design aid .. bad idea ..

I saw a 152-D-35xx earlier. The Dublin numbers are up near 4k already, a few days into the month?!

We collected the wife's new focus hatch yesterday. Just finished washing, glazing and waxing it and sealing the glass. Looks well (magnetic) and she managed to get the 115 ps 1.6 diesel which is much better than the 95 ps we traded against it.

Was stuck behind a brand spanking 152 Audi Q5 yesterday where the owner must've been driving back from the showroom as he was doing half the speed limit.

What caught my attention was not the new car but the strong smell of burning plastic coming off it

Mustn't have been coming from the Audi. They have a dedicated nose team to make sure their cars smell just right!

    I s**t you not! :P

Nice motor will that have the newer higher bhp engine?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,015 ✭✭✭Vote 4 Pedro

Got my 152 yesterday morning, awful picture but the car is nice enough. It's the 1.6Tdi SE Sportback in Scuba blue with slightly upgraded wheels.
Bought a car on the same day two years ago, a 132 reg A3 and the plate was no. 266 so that's some increase, about 2.8 times more ?

yes, I made sure of that....dct is tweaked aswell, which is good as the transmission seems to be the major gripe on most reviews

A Brownish colour if I'm not mistaken? If that's it then it's been a short 2 years! Seems like no length since you posted it!

You have a good memory, it was indeed a brownish colour, Audi called it Dekota Grey. I was going to get the same again but the wife wanted the Scuba blue....so we got Scuba blue

The reg numbers are significantly higher than the same period in 142, never mind 132. The Dublin 152's are tipping 10k already. The recession is over...

The IX35 I still find baffling. Are they offering massive discounts or what? There's no way I'd be buying a model (especialy as the name is going) that's about to be pensioned off in a few months.

Saw 2200 on a C reg the other day, I was kinda wondering what it would be at myself. Not that it makes a blind bit of difference to anything!
