Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    ONeill two top class saves.

    Nice move by Donegal.

They'd want to give that camera another wipe down.

Frank McGlynn is having a stormer in the play making.

This slow ponderous build up from Tyrone isn't doing them any favours. It just gives Donegal more time to funnel more men back.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,775 ✭✭✭✭Slattsy

Lot of tired legs, fittest team wins this i think.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,264 ✭✭✭✭Fireball07

Tyrone slowing down, not sure they can afford to do that. They must be tired but if they don't keep the pace up, they will lose.

  • Registered Users Posts: 963 ✭✭✭James74

Would it be out of line to say "launch it in ffs" :)

    Elbow swung

The arm went back from McFadden

  • Registered Users Posts: 963 ✭✭✭James74

    Hate those arm grab frees.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,380 ✭✭✭STB.

Batteries have run out on Tyrone.

No longer running through and finding it hard to track back.

Was Gallagher on a yellow there.

    Sporting Donegal crowd I see.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,264 ✭✭✭✭Fireball07

Can't miss those, wind or not.

  • Moderators, Entertainment Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 11,795 Mod ✭✭✭✭Say Your Number

    More nonsense FFS

Gallagher initiated it, can't complain about the second yellow.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,775 ✭✭✭✭Slattsy

Lucky not to be gone much earlier.

What's Joe McQuillan to do when players are acting like a bunch of f$%king spoiled children?!?!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,895 ✭✭✭Poor_old_gill

Neil Gallagher is some idiot- he was trying pulling and jabbing at Cavanagh there off the ball.
Completely pointless and he got what he deserved

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 8,722 ✭✭✭nice_guy80

Send off the two of them.
Might free up a bit of space on the field

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,264 ✭✭✭✭Fireball07

Pendulum swinging back to Tyrone? They are tired but now have an extra man.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 7,631 ✭✭✭Dirty Dingus McGee

It's a pity Neil Gallagher didn't tear the jersey off himself hulk hogan style as he left the field.

Proper order. Any player on a yellow should be walking away and not fronting up.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,264 ✭✭✭✭Fireball07

Stupid by Cavanagh, could have released it.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 8,722 ✭✭✭nice_guy80

    That was so stupid.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,264 ✭✭✭✭Fireball07

And another stupid decision by Cavanagh.

Two moments of stupidity from Kavanagh.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,664 ✭✭✭dirkmeister

Durkan made some meal of that save.

    As for Cavanagh...jayyysus

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,264 ✭✭✭✭Fireball07

    Bad handling error there

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,255 ✭✭✭✭flazio

Has the RTE cameraman never worked on a rainy day before or what?

I think this is a BBC production

Lovely strike and now they need a goal.

Sloppy from Tyrone in the last 5 minutes

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,664 ✭✭✭dirkmeister

Martin Carney is spot on re: mouthing.

Stupid carry on from both teams.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,569 ✭✭✭✭ProudDUB

Shame that the game has degenerated into a bitch fest of a game. I've seen games of Monopoly with less cards.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,380 ✭✭✭STB.

Toye should have got a card there. What is he doing on the sideline kicking the ball away when he is off the pitch ?

  • Moderators, Entertainment Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 11,795 Mod ✭✭✭✭Say Your Number

Two great goal chances for Tyrone

The words acrobatically and Paul Durkan should not be said in the same sentence.

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,806 ✭✭✭corny

Tyrone lads lacking conviction in possession was the difference between the sides.

Donegal are a despicable group of individuals but they'll be hard beaten again this year.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,264 ✭✭✭✭Fireball07

Tyrone tired. Donegal had the legs in the end.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,551 ✭✭✭SeaFields

Disappointing second half really. That off the ball sh!te ruined the momentum. Shame.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,952 ✭✭✭✭Stoner

Good contest, I enjoyed it anyway.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,775 ✭✭✭✭Slattsy

Tyrone could have won that truth be told.
Entertaining stuff anyway, loved the niggle.

some good points but typically brutal football.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,569 ✭✭✭✭ProudDUB

Far, far be it from me to point out the irony of a Meath man giving out about the rough stuff and niggle in a game. Oh no, not me.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,775 ✭✭✭✭Slattsy

Ha ha, he was an angel.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,569 ✭✭✭✭ProudDUB

Hafta say, Tyrone surprised me today. A lot of people wrote them off, especially since they got relegated from Div 1, but they could have won today, if they were a bit more clinical with the free taking. They probably don't have the legs to go all the way, but they could definitely give anyone a right game of it, if they don't bring their A game.

What on earth was McQuillan doing giving Cavanagh a black card?

What rule book did he consult that told him that challenge was anything near a black card?

Give him a second yellow perhaps, but even that would have been harsh. Purely pandering to the crowd.

Donegal deserved that win, but at the end of the day the game was ruined by off the ball hitting and nasty sledging. Pure muck from two sides that have fantastic footballers.
