Unfortunately that is how many of my fellow Dubs on the Dublin infrastructure threads feel is the best way to persuade the 66% of the TDs who are from outside Dublin to support vital infrastructure in Dublin.

But it does work both ways.

Result: we all end up with crap transport infrastructure; road and rail.

Does anybody know if the motorway will be opened in stages or not? Ie will the part from Gort to Kilternan be opened earlier than the rest for example

Apparently the N17 Tuam bypass will be opened in 2017 and the rest will be opened in 2018.

I had to reply on that Dublin underground thread, attitude of some people around here towards infrastructure outside of Dublin is just downright laughable
