Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

A quick snog in my car the other night before she went into her house. Yeah, it's like something you'd do when you're 16, but it felt so fun and it was the first kiss in a long time that I've had that felt "real" and that meant something. So yeah, the date went well!

Just after 7am at work & a lickle stray-cat made its way into our porch-area where it caught my attention with its purring.
Purring again as it drank the milk from the bowl I put in front of it; purred at the door to get into reception but eventually wandered off again into the wind & rain

I was feeling a little bit down earlier (planned date had to be cancelled and all of my friends were busy). For the first time in ages, I was sitting alone on a Saturday night and was just for some reason feeling down and stuff.
Well, leave it to my bestest buddy in the whole world to cheer me up! My doggie! He must have twigged something about the way I was just sitting around. He's intuitive like that. Cue coming over and nuzzling his head into my legs. Cue licking my hands. Cue jumping up on me while I was sitting to lick my face and make these cute doggie sounds. I couldn't help but laugh and play back.
Cold as it was, I threw myself together, and we went for a big long walk. Back to the house, and I just cuddled up with my buddy on the sofa and watched a film. He fell asleep next to me. He's now curled up around my feet, nuzzling me again.
I felt like it was a great night now, instead of a wasted one. He just cheers me up whenever I'm low and I'm so delighted to have a wonderful dog like him. 0 -

~ For the first time in so long I finished reading a book from start to finish in only a few hours. Normally I'd put it down & return at a later time. Today I just put a blanket out in the back garden; brought out a bottle of water & my shades, lid back and read, read, read.
Such a Relaxing feeling
~ Out cycling this evening, having people I know wave at & salute me at the right pick-me-up time to power on cycling home. Having a stranger roll down his car window for a random chat about the RingOfKerry as I was stopped at the traffic-lights also was quite funny!
