Trainspotting on film 4 at 11:15 followed by the beach at 1:05 am, savage line up!

2 very well acted films with sensational soundtracks.

One of my favourites - The Brave One - is on RTE 1 at 9:30pm tonight. A gritty and underrated story of revenge directed by Neil Jordan, with Jodie Foster in the starring role.

For others, Sleepers is also on TV3 at 9pm.

Vertigo is not my favourite and I'm not watching (though might catch a reshowing) but it might indicate that ITV3 have acquired the "Hitchcock 5" that were unseen for many years until the 80s - Rear Window, Trouble With Harry are two of the others.

i see film4 is putting up a nice print of
ST the motion picture at the moment



not a fave, or indeed a rec, but it migh'nt be bad
for an afternoon when there's nothing else on.
