    If you caught your boyfriend having text sex with another girl but he hadnt actually laid a finger on her in the real world, would you consider this cheating ?

    Personally, I would say yes if I found out that my girlfriend or wife was doing it. That is not to say that I have a girlfriend and a wife. lol

    I have to be honest here and say that I would dump him for this. And the end of the day, I obviously am not giving him what he needs and there is no point to continue the relationship.
    That being said, I think it would really depend on the relationship itself and how long you are together. I know he would dump me in a heartbeat if I done it to him

    It certainly is disrespectful and inconsiderate of the other partner's feelings.

    It seems many people can put it behind them...but I wouldn't consider it acceptable myself.

    surely having text (or phone) sex with someone, the intent is there... and both parties know it.

    If I did it, I'm sure my g/f would probably, or nearly dump me over it... and I'd understand tbh. It's not the actual act, but the reason and thought behind it.
    Maybe the girl never sent durty txts to her b/f, and he wanted that aspect elsewhere.... if he couldn't 'get it' some weekend, perhaps he'd go elsewhere to...
