Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hmm haven't been on this in a while, whats with the "heated" discussions and people leaving? I agree with some thoughts, think some are a bit much but taking it so personally is a bit much me thinks, course thats only my opinion ;) On fair city, I agree with Dermot, but Jo running off to Cork is a bit much, I know she had to be written off but as if she would stay down there and not rent a room somewhere in Dublin to be near Ben. Suzanne is so right not letting David back into her life straight away, talk about arrogant thinking he'll show up and all will be ok and now he's got a new job because he's tried to make it work but suzanne won't have him back , oh please has he even been back a week, me thinks s is well rid of him.As for Esther, talk about an interfering control freak, imagine having that as a potential mother in law or wife, Charlie what are you thinking! Why did she throw the passport in the bin at home though, whats wrong with anywhere else but right in your own kitchen not to mention at the top of the bin, at least shove it under something.. Lucy, loonie lucy..... I like the whole possible connection to Ross that someone suggested earlier, Dolores you had better watch out, cant wait to see who she is, and yes finally some people are copping on that she may have one or quite a few screws loose.

Did Dolly have an affair on the mechanic fella? She'd know all about it so when talking to Germish ;)

FRom what I remember Dolores had an affair with Frank the painter, all I remeber is white painting clothes and a big 'tache. I think he was baby Jessica s father. Im sure Harry had an affair first and this was a rebound type thing on Dolores' part. (Such complications!)
    I'm open to corrections though:)

Ross was the guy who was with Jessica's babysitter (can't remember her name) and had some E tabs with him, and one fell onto the floor and Jessica swallowed it and that's how she died!

and then afterwards (or was it before?) he had an affair with the teacher who Barry was dating (Sorcha?! I think she was Detective Sergeant Byrne's ex-wife?) and then Barry found out and that's when he had the big mental breakdown.

That was ages ago, like back in 2004 or 2005! I think Pat Nolan, the actor who plays Barry, actually won an award for his acting in that storyline!

Leo waving the burning greasy fry flipper around , he really needs to get that arm looked at , he could have melted the val and his daughter.
Why is David a squeeler, he was going to rat his own mother out.
Tommy dillons face in the pub when they said about him being happily married , priceless , he is a dog but ye have to love him.
Team Fahy haha I hear A Team music.
Its great to see shame being brought on the Charlie Kelly household, mags would have never pulled a stunt like that , he should tell her.

I love it when charlie kelly does what I say

It was grade A advertising , it would have went viral in real life , people posting the link around to laugh at it, if he got 10000 hits at least 20 of them would be willing to get lessons.

I hope Charlie Kelly convinces Jimmy to come home from austrailia.

How come nobody asks Dermot about Jo? The community lives in each other's pockets, Jo and Dermot were in McCoy's on a practically nightly basis, Jo had the Helping Hand on the "main street" of Carrigstown and then she disappears to Cork overnight.
Even if Dermot is telling everyone she's down looking after her ill father then surely you'd still have people asking how she is and how her father is. Yet Christy is the only one not in the know that seems to have copped on.
I couldn't understand why Kelly was so clueless about what happened between Dermot and Jo. It shouldn't have taken much to guess why a husband would so suddenly and determinedly evict his wife from their house and be so final about her never coming back.

But on to more serious matters - where the hell is Neasa lately? Did she get hit by a bus offscreen?

Is that Bela or Charlie's house that they all i.e. Cas, Bela and Charlie live in?

Does Esther live there as well?

From what I can remember it's Bela's house, Charlie rented his when he went to Canada, then the Bishops rented it. I can't remember what happened to the house after that. I think that as you walked in the door to Charlie's house the sitting room was on the left.

Rita will get a day out of the nursing home / prison for crimes to the human gene pool for good behaviour and bella will be in austrailia.
He will then spend a few weeks pissing and moaning that he was never around.

So when does Niamh start her affair with with Cormac or Colm or whatever-his-name-was that she won the contract from?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 98 ✭✭Okocim

No doubt Yvonne will be adding Finn's meat balls as a special offer to the menu in Vino's. :)

Cass is just priceless, with his evesdropping in on Finn and Keith..''when you reach my age you take any action you can get'' and then making a beeline into Vino's when there was free drink on offer!! :D

Sash and Finn getting it on would be interesting, loved her reaction to Keith's proposal!! Finn could try and lure Sash away from McCoys to work in The Station, creating some 'tension' with his other blonde barmaid Neasa who gets jealous, thus creating an interesting love triangle! Scriptwriters, take note, it took me all of five seconds to come up with that one!

Last two episodes were very well done I thought in terms of pace, and production!

Oh, and don't forget ''Ray's the Way'' :D:D

Last nights episode was like watching paint dry. I suppose they are just between storylines . Its not fair city without the bishops though . Maybe zumo should see Lucy and recognise her from the squats that are so frequently talked about.

Is Val's ex husband or partner i.e. her kids dad deceased or are they just divorced or separated?

I'd like to see Val's kids

Charlotte will be jealous that Rachel has a new friend in Shannon

Oh god no!! I HATE the bishops. I actually read the previews in the Sunday magazines. If the main story is the bishops. I don't watch for the week! All my friends are the same.
