as the title suggests, what was the best and most satisfying revenge you got over on someone?

They must have slept with your wife for that sort of back lash

I was working overseas and this person wanted to move to that city as her brother lived there. She was hoping to get a job in the company I worked for at the time as a job was necessary for visa purposes. Told the person that was interviewing them that they knew me. Unbeknownst to the person, the interviewer was a good friend of mine who I was meeting for lunch the next day.

Interviewer says to me (and I paraphrase) "do you know such and such? I was interviewing her yesterday and she name dropped you".

Let's just say that person never did get to move overseas. I do not feel bad at all.

She did a few d1ck things, started bad mouthing me around the office. Never intended to get any revenge as had moved on, but when the opportunity presented itself, who was I to resist?

Yes. It made no sense whatsoever that she thought she could use me as a reference. She was obviously a little bit stupid really.

Ah, the story makes more sense now. You should edit your first post to include this!

Honestly? The point where I truly stopped giving a damn about them. For me morons are kinda like cracks in the path, in the landscape, to be avoided, largely going unnoticed unless you happen to trip over one by mistake when your head is on other things and then you feel foolish for doing so.

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.

I've never gotten revenge on anyone because it just wouldn't occur to me. With one exception.

I was terribly hurt once and considered what it would be like to let them know how it would feel to have their lives destroyed. In the end I realised that they weren't worth my energy. That they weren't even worth revenge. They were simply worthless.

Is it possible to get revenge on someone who *hasn't* done something bad to you? Would it still be revenge?

Years ago in college I fell out with a friend over a boy. Months later while the friend and the boy were still technically going out I may have been involved in encouraging a drunken get together between another friend and said boy.

They went on to get married and have babies though so obviously I was helping true love blossom not being a spiteful cow......

I like the phrase "The opposite of love is not hate, but indifference". Hating them is still giving a sh-t about them (but granted, not always easy to let go of - depends on the severity I guess).

Nothing. I dont have it in me. Theres only been one or two people in my life who have pissed me of beyond belief, made me the angriest ive ever been/can ever get, but I still let it slide.

Letting things slide takes a bit of effort though, il let myself be angry about something, have a rant and then start to forget about it.

When I was about 9 my dad was a fiend for putting salt in our tea if we turned away from it. So one day I saved a big lump of translucent fatty gristle that I found in a pie and dropped it in his tea where it luckily sunk to the bottom. He drank nearly the whole mug before noticing what looked like a huge slug clinging to the bottom. He roared in fright and was nearly sick. I was the family hero for ages after. :D

Years ago someone I thought to be my nearest and dearest friend mistakenly sent a text about me to me. At the time I was totally heartbroken but I picked myself up, got on with my life and moved on.

I sometimes see her working in the same dead end job, single and living alone.

I'm happily married with a great job and a great bunch of friends.

Revenge is a dish best served cold!

Me and Marcellus got caught in a basement by 3 guys, one with a gimp ball in his mouth. We escaped, I stole Zeds motorbike and Marcellus got his boys to work them over with a pliers and a blowtorch.

My now fiance offered to make me a cup of tea. I take my tea strong n' black. I thought "oh how lovely" and took a big gulp only to realise he had put sugar in it, bleh, spat it out everywhere. He thought it was hilarious. Then when he left the room I poured vodka in his cereal, making sure I pooled it directly on the spoon in the bowl of milk. He nearly puked :D

In fairness it wasn't a balanced revenge because he actually LIKES vodka and I fkn hate sweet tea.

If he knowingly left his food unattended directly after playing a food related prank on you he deserved everything he got for being stupid!

Used have this roommate who would throw all my clothes that were hanging on the line out in the back on the grass when he wanted to use it, clothes were getting destroyed! Anyways he was the only one who drank low fat milk in the house so I started collected dead flies by the window and crushed them up really finely and would put it in his milk and well he used do other stuff to piss me off like eat my food etc. ....

After some pr!ck never sent me something I paid for on Ebay and prolonged email contact while making excuses just until the time for making complaints had elapsed, I used his email address to sign him up for daily email updates from a range of disturbing porn sites.
