Season 4 I think, we are only about two episodes behind states I believe

Yup, it's season 4 that's currently airing now on RTE. Last episode aired on RTE was e16 I believe. Could be 15 but I'm sure it's 16 though.

If renewed has to be new characters for a whole new revenge scheme

Just looking at the guide, Ep 17 is tomorrow night on RTE2 & Ep 20 just finished & afaik 3 more to go

I wasn't expecting that ending , i thought she had something devious planned when she met up with yer man at the end after leaving Margaux,
(she should have taken her with her as well) Was the chair in storage?

She definitely didn't want to go quietly, & may as well go out with a bang anyway, but what a way to go!

I agree, like the way TrueDetective is going.

DOES NO ONE STAY DEAD IN THIS SHOW.

If you don't see the unambiguously dead body assume the person alive.

    Sad but true.

    Poor Aidan has

Wouldn't have minded another series of the show, but the ratings had gone way down alright.

They have a lot to get through in the finale, surely it will be longer than the normal 40 mins?

I agree the promo doesn't look like it will end well for anyone, 2 graves - my guess is Victoria and David?

Was last night esp. of revenge not the finale?

Nope. 3 more to go for you assuming you're watching it on RTE?

23 episodes in total: I just watched No. 22, the final one will be aired in the USA in a couple of hours from now. I'm going to try to avoid spoilers until I get to see it. I did a news search, and there are already many spoilers out there for the penultimate episode ...

Well it's over you can see where the season cliffhanger was going to be and where they changed it to the series finale.

Amanda/Emily get her happy ending with a great twist.

If they ever want to go on with a different story that's there as well.

Must watch it to see how it all ends. Haven't watched since season 2.

Is Nolan getting a spin off?

Unlikely, ABC didn't give it the greenlight.

I was slightly disappointed with the ending. I thought there was a lack of karmic justice for emilys actions over the years. I know Margaux was unpopular but i was more sympathetic to her storyline

  • Registered Users Posts: 55,452 ✭✭✭✭Mr E

I thought it ended pretty well, although I hadn't see the last 3 seasons and didn't know some of the characters. Emily's karmic justice was getting Victoria's heart (if that was true and not a dream) :)

    Decent ending!

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,913 ✭✭✭Sudden Valley

Yes i think from the scar that emily had at the end showed she had a heart transplant. I dont think she would been that annoyed who she got the heart from. I guess she did suffer by having her other lover killed last season.

  • Registered Users Posts: 12,959 ✭✭✭✭bnt

Well, the scar means heart surgery, not necessarily a transplant. It's unlikely they'd use the heart from a woman in her late 50s for a transplant: it is done, but there's evidence that outcomes are worse. So I think it's just a nightmare, like something out of Dallas.

So she did have the heart transplant or was that a nightmare?

Her father was the man that Victoria killed when she was younger because he tried to molest her and her mother I think? But it was her father that she killed anyway.

She could have gotten a heart transplant or it could've been an operation to repair her heart. Doesn't quite explain to us what happened but my guess is that it was just a nightmare when Jack asks her about it at the end of the episode.

As soon as I saw the scar I thought "bet she got Victoria's heart!" But it was left ambiguous as to whether she actually had it or not.

I enjoyed the finale but it was definitely time for it to end. It really felt like they were making it up episode by episode. And for a while at the end, I thought Victoria was going to pop up again as she seems to be immortal!

I still think a Nolan spin off would work, Louise could be his partner to help others seek justice and revenge
