    Lovely motors. Both of them.

I used to think those BXs were ****ing cool when I was a kid. Nothing's changed.

Family members new car. Haven't seen it in person, but I'm assured it's in good condition. It's a luna spec, that's a fairly good one isn't it?

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,845 ✭✭✭Noccy_Mondy

Times must be tough for him Vectra, not only has he to sell the windows of his house, he also has to sell the house to keep the 5er on the road ;) :pac:

Absolutely lovely car Vectra. I saw the work you put into her over on the detailing forum. But those wheels......

Each to their own I suppose

I wouldn't be keen on the alloys either. Always like the 520 though :)

    No,
But unfortunatley the red e46 got Killed in an accident :(

    As for the wheels?
They look much nicer in reality.
I did not like them in pics but when I saw them I am impressed by them.

She is also sitting on Coilovers and still comfier than my vRS.

Thankfully it was the car and not your son!

Lovely e60, I actually like the wheels, nice seeing something different on them, and they're not too outlandish!

I agree, I think the wheels actually really suit it!

The brakes are not big enough to take wheels with that much empty space, the e60 looks better with a more solid alloy. The m6 alloys are universally rank even on a m6 for the same reason. IMHO

Exactly what I said to him when I went to collect him and saw the car. :O

I think if you dont DA the entire car, spend €1000+ on it and love it to bits, then an e46 will last longer.

At least for me and Vectras son anyway :o

Ok apologies for those who may have seen the initial pic on another thread where I was looking for info, but I've just finished cleaning it and am rather pleased with the result :D.

She's a 2001 318 ci Auto, with only 12,600 miles on the clock. Owned by my sister in the UK who rarely used it. She imported it from Germany as a new unregistered vehicle in 2001 (in the days where you got tax savings) & despite its low mileage, had it serviced ever year through a main BMW dealer. Only thing I've changed are new tyres as the originals had cracked and I replaced the tape deck with a CD unit.

Bought a 3 year old BMW F10 there yesterday, decent spec too - Sport Steptronic box with steering wheel paddles, business sat nav, power folding & auto dimming mirrors, rear privacy glass and LED DRLs. 60k miles on the clock and FBMWSH. Picking her up later next week so will post a few photos then.

Nope, SE. M Sports were too expensive in the end, the harder ride was not worth the extra money imo.

Actually a cousin of mine bought a nice DSG example recently on my recommendation, so normality is some how restored. :D
