Got these the other day and have to say super comfy and ideal for links golf, still keeping my other shoes for my trips to parkland courses.

You get them online or in an actual live shop? I have a voucher too burning a hole in my pants.

Got them at my local pro shop, think he said they were the last pair too which makes it a bit sweeter. (Although next time I am in they will probably have an even nicer pair in their place)

Compared to the Seve wedges I had? World of difference.

They are a much more balanced weight for a start. They are lighter in feel, but that weight helps me ensure I'm accelerating through the ball on impact. With my Seve wedges which were much heavier and unbalanced, youd feel like you were accelerating but you actually weren't.

There is much better feedback of the face of the Clevelands compared to the ones I had. I know instantly if a shot is going to bite, spin hard, be soft landing or hard running. The seve wedges had absolutely no feedback what so ever.

Spin is definitely increased on these wedges. I was hitting the same type of approaches with the Seve wedges and they would just hit hard and roll, these Cleveland wedges have excellent spin and more impressively something I can nearly control from distance.

    What are you talking about?

There is a pretty big difference between a €20 wedge and a €80 wedge. A big difference between a generic manufacturer, and a established manufacturer.

You might want to explain that a bit more to be fair...

No, keep it as just "what I bought" posts
I have the Cleveland non RTX wedges, kind of wishing I went for the RTX but I'm still pretty happy.

Haven't noticed and difference in spin apart from the 50° as the one I had was junk. More having all the same wedges leaves me no fear from one wedge to another

Also got them on the trade in deal with my local pro shop

Finally bit the bullet and bought a pair of spikeless shoes. Great grip and comfortable. Hope I haven't jinxed the weather on us now!

It was 30th birthday last week and my sister and her boyfriend got me a voucher for American Golf so I got a new pair of shoes. Like geeksauce above, but a different colourway.

Ha, well I should mention the few bits I got in the last while

Cobra AMP 19° Hybrid with a RIP Stiff Shaft. Love this club

    2323_01_4.jpg

    A 910 D2 9.5 set to 8.75 with a Kuro Kage 60G Stiff shaft from (I think) a Cobra Amp Pro.

Not mad on the shaft with it being 46", prefer 45" so on the look out to change, I liked the Kal'Li but found it a bit soft so I'll probably be buying a few shafts in the next while until I'm happy. Lesson first though.

Also had a Bushnell V2 Tour that I had to return as it would only last a round ,two at most taking the battery out at after each range. Replace it with a Nikon 350G. Not as good with no pinseeker but the batteries are yet to run out.

Oh, and along with a putting lesson I'm looking to change my putter. Last time I dismissed a lot due to look and , I think, pick the wrong putter for my putting stroke.

    All second hand OFC

Your a legend - most people would say don't be changing so much.

But with you - your that outlier.

Dan - I officially christen you the new Tones on here.

    Single figures by 2016. :D

That is irrelevant - Tones started at 30 million or something. So the legend goes.

High, 20 and I got my 3rd .1 back after my third comp

I've shot into the mid 80's on casual rounds a few times but can't seem to putt since I got my handicap :pac:

Going to take this year easy and next year set a goal and really go for it.

Maybe buy a new putter. That should help.

Get rid of the handicap so.

Jaysus dan - when you really go for it a few things could happen. The internet coud blow up or Golf club sales will double.

No keep it up - enjoying your efforts.

Single figures by midnight new years eve 2015.

    In my last post,

Dan everybody knows I don't read back past the last post in a thread ;)

But seriously, good luck, you obviously have the bug bad.
Only advice I'll give is don't get caught up worrying too much about equipment.

You can have the best of everything but it won't matter if your swing, grip, stance etc etc are all very unreliable.

    :D

    Thanks, I'm trying not to.

Changing the 3wood for the hybrid was a really good choice for how I'm playing at the minute.
The driver is better than ever but I don't think I needed to change to be honest, I was looking for more forgiveness with the D2 versus the Xhot Pro head but I think I should have just started lessons sooner.

Generally I don't spend money when changing clubs, I usually just buy within the limit of what I sold the old club for. The only big thing I've actually spent since the beginning of the year on golf has been golf balls, lessons and the membership and I'm paying for the lessons out of a club I sold for a small profit
