@DuvetCover, awesome haul! I just placed an order with nailsupplies.us this morning lol It's good know to someone else has use them and had a good experience. I normally use transdesign but when I went to order some I noticed it was down, so I decided to try nailsupplies. Anyway! TD and nailsupplies are the same company, I noticed. No idea why they have 2 sites, but you're right, TD has OPI.

Great minds think alike!! I have ordered from nail supplies before so was happy to use them again. Yeah it's a bit odd that they are they same company but only TD sell Opi.. Oh well it just meant I had to place 2 orders! I have placed myself on a two month nail polish buying ban now so I'm looking forward to seeing your haul! :D

How much is the delivery costs to order off the trans design & nails supplies websites?
Do you get caught with customs ?

    Thanks

    Hey!

Shipping to Ireland was $23 for 9 polishes. They filled the customs form as a gift so I have not got caught yet!

According to nailsupplies.us it'll cost me $100 to ship 1 polish?
What am I doing wrong?! :)

I think maybe the more you order, the cheaper shipping gets?

Has anyone seen Colour Club polishes around Dublin? I saw Lyndar the Merciless had a blog post saying they were now in selected pharmacies in Ireland but no sign of them round my neck of the woods!

Thanks duvet cover, must have a look at the website tonight!! Really like Orly polish but don't seem to be able to find it online in Ireland

I emailed eightyeightbeauty.com yesterday re delivery costs & they said that
    1-6 bottles $19
    7-13 bottles $38

To me this seems expensive - you can post up to 4lbs from US for $16.95 - I've had it done 1lb = 454g so, that is a fair few bottles of polish. I do not see how it would be $38. A friend posted to me, about 20 bottles and it only cost $16.95. As far as I know, there is a box and a padded envelope - mine came in a padded envelope.

Valentina, I've seen their magnetics in random places, but not a fan of magnetics! They are often in sets of 7 in TK Maxx for €9.99

    Re: eightyeightbeauty delivery costs
It is a little expensive alright especially as the exchange rate isn't good at the moment.
It works out at about €5.80 per bottle of Orly polish ( if u get 6 bottles). I'm not sure if that is a good price?
Anyone know of other websites where I can get Orly polish??

This is near my work but I haven't been (so I don't know what the selection is like) - would work out just more than €8 a bottle www.flair.ie

I've gotten some on eBay - but there's no way in hell I'd pay that per bottle for postage.. or is that to include postage?

I just ordered some stuff from Asos, including my very first OPI nail polishes.

    I got these:

I can't wait for them to arrive! Btw, I only realized now that those two turquoise glitter polishes are very similar. Oh well. :o

Meant to post last week actually, inspired by someone on here I did a stripy manicure, excuse the mess round the edges :)

    553486_3759573622607_279816340_n.jpg

I used Essence Snow White Dopey, Nails Inc Regent's Road Park and and Boots Natural Collection Cosmic Crush. My index finger was an experiment that I wasn't too keen on but couldn't be bothered re-doing, the whole thing took ages! None of the lines are really straight but I like to think that's part of its charm :)

My first post in here, excuse the amateur photo!

I wanted a neutral polish I could wear for work as we're not technically allowed wear it, so I found this, Beige Style by Rimmel for 5.95. It's ever so slightly metallic too, which is nice.

I just did :o but I got a Models Own trio and a Barry M glitter polish as well so I'm actually getting 5 polishes for €25 which sounds more reasonable than 1 for €15 .. that makes sense right?

You would be able to get it for under a tenner inc delivery on ebay. For example http://www.ebay.ie/itm/OPI-VINTAGE-MINNIE-MOUSE-COLLECTION-VARIETY-COLORS-FULL-SIZE-0-5fl-Oz-15ml-/310406350522?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&var=&hash=item8e0ad3b427#ht_1581wt_1037

My local chemist has been updated with both Snow Whites and Catrice Coolibri Collections.

Also there is a little chemist on George's St in Dun Laoghaire (near the Barnardos shop) stocking a stand of Catrice polishes including the Million Styles Topcoats - in case that interests anybody out that way!

then below is cinderella with revlon whimsical on top. Both are again courtesy of Chickenbutt :D
I must say when I saw whimsical I thought hmmmm I love glitter but I'm not sure about these creamy glitters. Then when I put on rage and saw there was rose gold pieces in whimsical, I thought gee I wonder what that will be like. Next thing I know this colour is coming between me and my sleep and so since a dog broke my nail today and I had to redo my last manicure, I said I'd try the blue and now I just love it!

I had some money put away for a little treat for myself since I'll be off the cigarettes 10 weeks on Monday, so I topped up my O2 card and got some bits n bobs - including 12 Kleancolor polishes for around 30 euro including postage on eBay here - http://www.ebay.ie/itm/230720858203?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649 - there are listings for 3 or 6, and they have a heart polish like that OPI. Paese also do a heart one.

Also got China Glaze 'It's Alive' from Amazon.com for 6.80 including postage, and placed an order with nailsupplies.us. For 9 bottles of China Glaze & Barielle it was 44 euro including postage. I think it's fab value!

I love ASOS for polish, I always get my Barry Ms there.

I was looking at Atlantis and Riveting too today! Do you know if there are any extra charges when you order nail polish from USA?
If your order is for €22 euros or less including postage you shouldn't incur any extra charges, but if it is over €22 euros you could be caught for customs.

I think customs charges a about an extra 21.5%, although I could be wrong about that.

Anything I have ever bought from eBay that was posted from the USA always arrived within 3-4 working days. I would say I'd have these polishes by next Thursday, due to the bank holiday, although I could be wrong and there could be longer delays.

With that seller I bought from (BeautyZone2007) they have always provided a tracking number so I could keep track of my items and knew where they were and when to expect them etc.

Oh great, thanks so much for the info! :) I bought some nail polishes and nail art a couple of days ago and one of them was from USA, but it only cost about €10. I'll have to remember that €22 limit next time!

    http://www.dutycalculator.com/new-import-duty-and-tax-calculation/

Going by this, there are no duty charges on Nail Polish but it has a VAT rate of 23%. I put in all the details of mine and it says potentially there could be a customs charge of 9.20 euro on my nailsupplies order. I don't mind, it's still working out at around 6 euro per China Glaze and Barielle even with shipping and customs included. That's cheaper than GOSH or OPI and they're all hard-to-find in Ireland! (the justification of an addict, wha)

Guys I was in TK Maxx in Cork today. Loads of Nails Inc,Essie, OPI, Nicole by OPI, Barielle and Colour Club. They also had Rimmel and Revlon sets too! I didn't buy any colours(go my restraint) but I got an Essie Grow Rocher Growth Treatment for €5.99 :) I haven't heard many reviews so hopefully its good!

Also picked up this gold, which turned out to be a foil polish, I don't like it at all, so might just use it on my toes.

Can't find a picture of the gold, only the silver, but they are the exact same, except for the colour obviously.
