So eh, I've come into a bit of cash through an investment I had.
I don't really want to invest it again.
I've got a car, I don't want to buy a property on this island.
I've considered prize bonds and buying a motor bike. I've been thinking about getting into dirt biking.

Apart from that though I don't really have ideas.

Go on that holiday of a lifetime. Seriously, if that was me I'd be off backpacking Vietnam, China, Japan, and other countries for at least 3 months.

Hell, with 30k I could probably do an around the world trip, or break it down into smaller 3 week trips every 6 months or more.

Think of all the fantastic places you could go. Fiji, Easter Island, USA, Greenland, Antarctica, The unheard of corners of China, Singapore, Taiwan and much much more. Flying business class too, even though it is about 2k a ticket :P

    I hate you.

I'd tell you but there is a 5,000 euros fee.

Unfortunately I have to stay in my job that I absolutely hate for another year or so.
But after that I think I'll head off somewhere.

Spend it on hookers and you get the added bonus of not having to put up with a nagging wife.

Travel for sure!! And maybe buy something you've always wanted. If you have no savings keep a small bit back for emergencies

I'll be honest and say that spending money simply because it's there to spend is a fairly stupid idea. If you don't have something you've wanted for a while, or plans made that you needed money to fulfill, then put the money away until you do because when that time comes you'll look back and question what the feck you were doing buying matching jetskis and lamenting over not having the money then for what you really want to do.

What would you do with it?

    Buy a Russian wife!

    Or buy a boat...

That true but I need to help the global economy :D
Also can you imagine if/when the euro becomes worth nothing how pissed you'd be at not spending it.

Totally. Take your time too, plan it etc. Im sure you could get some time off work as most people could? a week or 2 even.

Is there anywhere you have always wanted to go? Just don't spend it on pointless crap that will be wasted in a year or 2, because you will regret it.

    Buy a Russian wife:confused:

Someone actually is trying to sell me a boat at the moment. I have no idea why, I have never expressed an interest in boards and would have no mooring.

    Produce a porno.

A gay one and that fella who wants to be a porn star give him the lead role. It's might be his big break through and if it's successful you might just double your money.

Yea the very same. And considering I'm in work in 6 hours, I think i'll be at less than 100%.
If you're suggesting that I'm full of ****, I'm not. I hate my job, but have to do it for another year or so for non financial reasons.

I've never really had an urge to travel the world though to be honest.
I don't know why. I'd probably love it though.

If I move country I guess it would be a decent amount to use as a deposit for a home.

Give it to Richard Boyd Barret so. Apparently he has all the answers.
