We hope to improve in 2012 & welcome any (constructive) feedback, ideas, suggestions etc that you may have. We will also being running training the weekends we do not have shows so please contact links below if you would like to be a part of IwW. Happy Christmas everyone & have a great New Year.

imo Irish wrestling , despite the efforts of companies and wrestlers, will never have a proper scene........unless a tv slot is secured at least! Even tg4!

It's a sorry state of affairs when people deem women's hurling more exciting than wrestling :o

A weekly TG4 slot to push storylines would be perfect.

Also would like to say thanks to MSW and NLW for putting on some entertaining shows this year and getting me interested in the Irish Wrestling scene. Also thanks for making the effort of bringing over Scotty 2 Hotty.

Really hope you can continue the trend of bringing over a former WWE guy every so often, and also hope that there is another PoetrySlam.

Look forward to seeing yous in 2012, and i'm also going to try and check out an IWW show next year.

Nah, I don't care enough about wrestling anymore to be bitter about anything! It's just everytime I see these vids pop up, I hope someone has actually gotten creative and done a decent job. Then it's generic rock music, clips of guys wrestling, a voxpop with guys on the roster listing off injuries they've suffered, cheap looking titles and so on. So I decided to comment on it. Nothing against this vid in particular, it's as much of a letdown as the rest!

From both a media and a wrestling standpoint, it's a letdown because that vid hardly tells you anything about FFPW except...it exists. And they didn't even make a big deal of Fergal when they actually got a massive exclusive interview. If I'd never heard of him, I wouldn't know he's one of the biggest wrestlers in the world and that's not his or FFPW's fault.

    cheap looking title? :(

They sure looked like awesome shows. The NLW title match was awesome. Who knew Sammy D could put on a match like that. Anyone else miss Kev MacDermott's blond hair?

Ah now Sammy D has always been one of the best up and comers in Ireland.

And no.... Nobody misses his blonde hair.

As the post illustrates, Nowinski never ended up wrestling for IWW. Williams was a regular in the early days, though.

Well the post didn't illustrate that, it just said that he was taken off of that particular show.

Are their any other current WWE or TNA talent that have wrestled for an Irish promotion besides Sheamus, Wade Barrett and Drew McIntyre?

I'm sure you and your kids will have a great time at the IWW event! Last time I was at an Irish show they sold t-shirts and glossy photos, their own stuff. Also, please TURN YOUR CAPS LOCK OFF. We don't like shouting here :)

This Sunday evening, No Limit Wrestling are back in the Moat Theatre in Naas, Co. Kildare for the annual 'NEW YEAR BASH' show!

In the main event, the most must-see wrestler in Ireland, "Suicide Machine" Paddy Morrow will challenge NLW World Champion Dunkan Disorderly. Many fans feel Morrow is over-looked as a main event player in No Limit Wrestling and campaigned for him to receive this shot. Morrow and Disorderly have become good friends over the past year and both are said to be very excited about facing each other.

Elsewhere on the show, Irish Tag Team Champions Justin Shape and Danny Butler collectively known as Team Mega will face defend the titles against the powerful team of Bonesaw & OMEN. This will certainly be a test for the Tag Champions.

In another tag team bout, "The Lord of the Manor" Sir Paul Tracey teams with "Scum of the Earth" Robbie Morrissey to take on the duo of Jordan Devlin and hometown boy Shawn Maxer, both of whom have recently competed in Japan's Zero-1 promotion.

Plus, after a thrilling match at an NLW event last June, Tucker and "All Star" Anthony Idol have signed up to face each other again. Tucker has one win under his belt against Idol, can he make it 2-0?

All this and much more action takes place THIS SUNDAY January 22nd at the Moat Theatre in Naas, Co. Kildare (less than 30 mins from Dublin)
Tickets are €12 each on sale now from the Theatre Box Office by calling (045) 883030 or logging onto www.moattheatre.com.

Bell time is 6pm on the night!

This week the Fight Factory have introduced a new championship belt to the Irish Wrestling scene. The Irish Junior Heavyweight Champion will be crowned in a few months time. We hope this will increase competition at the Fight Factory and help each wrestler improve their craft. We feel the addition of this title will make each wrestler perform at their best level and that will transfer to the wrestling shows which will make for a better experience for the Irish Wrestling fans. Good Luck to everyone involved in this championship chase from FFPW.

Thanks Charisteas. I'v no idea who else is in the match. Also on the MSW event page it says the MSW Heavy Weight title is on the line and there will be a Hardcore match too. So its sure to be a good one.

Direct from the MSW Facebook the Tag Team Title match will pit Thunder & Lightening against Big & Dirty, The Hot Shots and NLW's own Philly The Kid & Sammy D.

NLW Star OMEN is also scheduled to be on the show.

Emerald Wrestling Promotions occasionally do shows in Galway City and the Midlands area. I suggest looking their page up on facebook and asking about future shows. They had a show on Saturday in Offaly I think and it drew over 400 people i think.

    anybody know?

I dont know of any schools opening up in waterford but I do know that The Fight Factory in Bray is the longest running and most successful wrestling school in Ireland. Its only up the road on the N11. Im from Kildare myself and its still fairly handy to get to.We also have ladies only training sessions (asuming your username isn't misleading) and regular training on Sundays and Wednesdays. You can look us up on Facebook for more info.
