Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Yup the weather is fairly deceiving. Sun shining, not a cloud in the sky and only about 5 degrees out.. definitely wakes you up on the walk into work in the mornings I tell ya.. :D

    Oh no.Im sure thats not too pleasant.My brother had one in his late teens,very nasty.

    Ah no, sure that's only over the road :cool: Realistically even if you were in Dublin it so freaking cold by the time you made it to my house it would be cold too!

    I do I think this is the second time (bar breaking my leg) that I have ever taken sick leave in the 12 years I have been working and I feel super guilty for it and have gotten an email re a fook up :mad:

    I've to meet a job agency in the morning, what's the normal attire for these, shirt and tie? Suit? Shirt and slacks? Upon further reflection, I don't want the job but the experience won't do me any harm or maybe the agancy could point me in the right direction. I work at the moment just incase someone thinks I'm committed to staying on the dole or something.

    If its just a recruitment company then Id say you will be grand with a shirt and slacks tbh.Its not formal enough for a tie but a bit more formal than jeans.

    I'd go all out and wear a suit without the tie tbh - from my dealing with recruiters if you look the part and you get on well with them they'll work harder for you to get the role

    Obviously you can say they're out for their commission but I've dealt with two very nice people from CPL in the last year or so and they treated me very well.

    Started the new job a few weeks ago and got a call on my first day from a one of these individuals to see if I was available, a company I'd interviewed with a number of months previous had asked him to see if I was available.

    When I said no he told me I was with a better company atm and wished me all the best - thought it was a very nice touch by him.
