Turning into a bit of an anti-climax.

Kerry resorting to Tyrone type defending. Cooper was even back defending.

But of course it's not puke football when Kerry do it :pac:

Yes felt Kerry were there for the taking around the 50 minute mark. But shooting let Cork down. Before today Cork were best team in country. But like Dublin just didn't turn up on the day. How many wides now. 12 to cork five to Kerry. says it all.

Second half as a contest very disappointing. Last of the provincial champions gone barring a Kilkenny type miracle here.

Hats off to Kerry. They took the scenic route this year but at the end of the day, the only statistic that matters is they are AI champions again.

Thirty years ago Kerry beat Dublin. This was a bit closer. Same result though!

Ref was awful, gave everything he could to Kerry, but Ciork have only themselves to blame, owned the ball for most of the second half and did fu*k all with it.

Typical Cork failings ,you cant rely on them in football.
    Woeful finishing and decision making.
The standard of inter county football in general is appalling.

what a bias ref, he seemed to see every foul by a cork player. terrible shooting by cork but fair play to kerry, you can only play whats put our in front of you.

the frustration is unbearable and i'm not the greatest fan of this game

    Congrats Kerry.

Gutted for Cork. However, they were second rate after the goal. If chances are missed, they have nobody to blame, but themselves. Kerry fashioned openings, and took them. It was effortless in the end, and for Cork's center field masterclass, they were very poor in the forward line.

Game itself....meh. Another Kerry canter. They never really broke a sweat. The same applied in the Dublin and Meath games. Cork will be back, however, they really could not claim to have deserved it today.

I would also appeal to Coronians not to look to the referee. It made Tipp and Mayo fans look very bitter after the AI Final, and FQF defeat respectively

I'm a kerry person, and it's always good to win.
But the ref was terrible. He did give everything to Kerry.
If I were from Cork, I would be furious.
Standard of refereeing in general is very, very poor.

Agree that cork lost it themselves but if the ref did his job properly, kerry would have been down 1 if not 2 players. Could have made a big difference!! Congrats to kerry though!!

Ref had nothing to do with Cork losing. But he should have let the game flow more. And let one or two Kerry "challenges" go. But lets not go down that road. Kerry defence the best at turning over opposition. The corner stone of their success IMO.

Of course I am not seeking to attempt to mitigate the actions of O She and Kennelley. However, its a swings and roundabouts game. There will be times the card willl be brandished, and other times it wont be.

Was it 1-9, 1-8, and 1-7 conceeded in their last three games ? If so, the success speaks for itself.

Cork only managed 6 points in the last hour of the match.
Barely a point every ten minutes.
They scored the same amount in the first 10 minutes as they did in the rest of the match.
    That is atrocious.
They lost their nerve ,composure and didnt seem to have any player who could kick the bloody ball more than 30 yards.

Kennelly challenge was a bit blatant. But as Spillane said it happened so early on in the game that it went un noticed. But now time to introduce TV refs. Two challenges today that should have merited sanction.
