Theres this classical tune ive had in my head for years. Ive been humming it to people but alas no one knows wtf I'm on about. Finally by chance I come across a video that has a few seconds of the track I'm on about.

The song used on the eircom ads at the moment - (That's the one with "Dave likes the last pop and the first pint" ****e in it).

That's a Jon Brion track, called Mondays.

Should find it on the Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind ST.

It's also played at the beginning of I Heart Huckabees so it's probably on the soundtrack of that too.

I'm trying to identify the track used in the latest TV trailers for Lost.
It sounds like a 60's hit. The lyrics I caught were
"I wait patiently for you"....

It has a kind of hispanic feel to it even though the lyrics are
clearly in English..

any ideas? sorry if this has been answered before.

I recall it now. The founder member of that band passed away late
last year if IIRC. You are right - it's a great song. Wasn't he one
of Hendrix's inspirations in the early days? !

cant get this bands name but the video is on a hill with a big screen in the background!! darkish video....
the band are only young n the bass player does backing vocals.......n at the very end of the video the band start gettin blown out of their position n it finally finishes wit the guitarist blowin up........but very crap explosions tho lol

the bass player sings "come in come in come in" then the guitarist sings something like la la la laa la la duno the lyrics tho!!!

please im goin insane..........there sort of grungey i wud say!!!

No probs Haven't heard the entire album, just songs off it, some people have compared them to Nirvana (not sure about that tho) I've only really heard the songs they've released as singles but they seem pretty good.
If you go to their official web-site, they have a few songs playing in the background as you browse through, so you can have a listen there
