I think it also has to do with the number of users on each trunk. I live in an outer area of cork so we have a lot less people sharing the same bandwidth. Dublin is a lot more compact so they would have to invest more heavily in lines and repeaters and such.

Currently in my back yard:

A stray I found today- spent an hour following him trying to get a lead on him (which involved stopping traffic so they didn't hit him, persuading strangers with dogs to stop and help encourage him over and crawling around through puddles to calm him down), then walked around for another hour and a half seeing did he know his way home and asking people if they rocognised him.

Have him called in the gardai, pictures going up on all the animal pages I know on facebook and will be bringing him to the vet tomorrow to check for a microchip. Can't help but feel he's been dumped though- the park near me always gets dogs dumped in it around this time of year and nether I nor any of the local dog walkers I talked to knew him

Sooooo anyone want a dog?? I am willing to drive him to any part of Ireland if it means a good home!!

Sunday 3 weeks ago I found a stray spaniel cross and managed to find her owner a few hours later. Sunday 2 weeks ago I found that same dog and called her owners again (she was digging under their fence and escaping from their garden). Did eat the head off them for not getting her a tag since she was last out. Don't talk to me about Sundays hehe I'm not going out at the weekends anymore!!! I maintain you only find dogs on Sundays because they know that all the vets are closed so you can't check for chips!

Hopefully someone will claim this woof, offer him a home or a rescue will take him in. I refuse to let him go to wicklow pound and my house is a shoebox. A friends taking him tonight for me.

Looking for some advice please loungers.

As you know, we're having a wee party at our house the day after we get married to celebrate with our friends. We would love to do a hog roast. We have found a local company that do it for a good price, which includes a person to serve up the food, and they have great reviews. It just popped into my head that one of my bf's friends is a veggie, as is his wife. They are the only veggies who will be at the party. Do you think it would be fair to have a hog roast at a party with veggies? We will of course be providing some equally delicious veggie food from another local company.
