The Audi 80 Avant is true bangernomics, cost 700 quid and is extremely economical, but certainly not slow, with it's 1.9 TDI engine. It might not be classic to some yet, but they are getting rare.

The Audi 80 is solidly built, but other than that has zero redeeming features as a car.

Can't find an ad for that anymore I thinks it was called old timers garage or something.
    Here's a few other options....

Yep. I've seen these, two. Beford or Ford Transit have no interest. It would be a V8, I'd be after.

Heh. Well, it has to be torque proof in a 3 liter Alfa (the badge is wrong) and the manufacturer didn't think about the need for coffee 29 years ago. So fair dues for the owner with the way he fixed that.

    /M

I agree, It's a clever solution (and i'm kinda annoyed I didn't think of it). I'm off to make one for myself, but as I'm not a coffee drinker, it's going to have to hold a bottle of water.

Also love the cassette holders in the dash. I remember the father's '85 Orion having them...

I like the way that if you are "tackled" for driving a gas guzzlier by a tree loving Green, you can say that it's got a bio-degradeable cupholder.....

I tried the "wedging the bottle in between the passanger seat and the tunnel", but it resulted in a minor accident.....

Looks like the last of the 3rd Gen Cutlass Supreme - probably a '77.

**** sake, cant leave anything out out can you.I know the car, can't think of the model, possibly an amazon estate? You got a nice few days for touring Killarney.

Not sure if it was the same place, but I do remember seeing 2 Volvo Amazon estates outside a shop last year or the year before. One was red and the other was either blue or white. I think one of them was parked on a slope and the other was in the carpark....both of them on ZV or english plates....burnt out? hmm the shop must have been closed for a while so........

Ah that's a shame, it was almost a landmark there, I passed it only a few weeks ago and it was there in good enough condition.
