However alas, the image shown there makes me doubt it a bit. That image looks like a Russian airbase with a Ukraine flag photoshopped in. You can tell because the flag is about twice the size of the nearby hanger.
This could just be a mockup for the sake of the post, but until and unless the AFU publicly show off airframes confirmed to be Russian, going take this news with a bucket-load of salt.

To be fair was always going to happen. The amount of US intelligence and satellite imagery given to Ukraine has given Ukraine a major advantage. It was always going to happen that Russia would want some pay back in that regard.

Yeah. Looks to me like Ukraine (again) have played the clever game, crushing Russian air defences over the last several weeks so they could have free run of the skies and decide for themselves how aggressively they'd target whatever installation they wanted.
Expect to see more of this. Exports crippled, Russian port and refinery workers laid off, local economies disintegrating and local governments having to choose between spinning the "EATP" Kremlin line or deciding they too have had enough of Putin's Ruskyy Mir.

Well they would say that. At the start of the war the Americans gave them suicide drones but the Ukrainians discovered that off-the-shelf commercial drones were easier to pilot and better all round.
