For sure. It’s part of why I always reply to them.
I know it’s repetitive, and I know it can get annoying (hell even I feel it, and I’m the one writing these) but my goal is to highlight how biased the post is and how everything written in it should be taken with that bias in mind.
The Russians and their fan club would love nothing more than to have their scuttle to be framed as “neutral” and “common sense”. It delights me to ruin this intention every single time. There is no moral foundation for anyone who posts in support of a nation who bomb innocent children, and such posts should always get called out.
Lots of people say Ukraine is corrupt and I can't help seeing the subtext; they are corrupt so it's ok to kill their children. Utterly moronic.
There are endless articles on the struggles of the German car sector and chemical sector. Feel free to Google.
Cheap Russian gas is 1 of the main reasons German was so competitive in these areas. The rise of China's car industry will wipe out the German car outside of Europe which the EU will try and protect with tariffs.
Mario Draghi published avery detailed report on the lack of European competitiveness and how to solve. It was commissioned by the EU but a year later it is largely ignored. The European solution to an European problem - do nothing until it's far far too late.
You know what else speaks volumes? All these « neutral » posters are only talking about how Ukraine is corrupt or collapsing on the battlefield or how the west is weak (or warmonger, depending of the week). However, they never gives positive things about Russia. That tells you all you need to know.
Very invested in protecting the Russian’s money, aren’t we Bricky? How very neutral of you.
You do know why we like news of the Russian’s ill-gotten cash being taken from them, don’t you? Less cash available means few funds for munitions. Munitions that they use to bomb civilians..and children in their beds. Don’t you agree that it is a good thing to limit their ability to do this?
Oh and don’t forget…continued silence on this speaks volumes.
It is very possible. Euroclear's Director General echoed what has been pointed out by some for a long time. An institution that safeguards €42.5 trillion worth of securities and processes 330 million transactions each year.
She points out the extreme risk involved and does not rule out taking the EU to court if forced to disperse Russian assets.
Quite scary that politicians are even considering this given the risk, just as it is that people wish for it to happen. If it went wrong it could literally affect millions of people in a bad way.

Ha….even the Russians are getting sick of Caudron Reports. I wonder if they also got sick of hearing about Istanbul too :P
I'll just leave this here (especially the last paragraph)
The planned €98bn loan to fund defence spending will stimulate manufacturing. Germany amended its constitution to allow this not be counted in their balanced budget rules.
Germany has seen no growth since 2019, it's largest industry is in structural decline and it has severe demographic challenges, France is also a mess, and these are the 2 largest economies in the EU.
This is war. Men are numero Uno in war. If Ukraine wants their women and children back for whatever reason they should be obliged. The West brain drain isn't a good thing for them.
Wheres Wally Sergey?
Any facts to back up your baseless opinion?
As to to the pot of gold, major economies will be lining up to rebuild Ukraine as there will be money to be made, not least of all the EU.
https://commission.europa.eu/topics/eu-solidarity-ukraine/eu-assistance-ukraine/recovery-and-reconstruction-ukraine_en
You need to let Germany know, they plan to increase aid to Ukraine to €11.5 billion in their next budget.
The European economy is going down the toilet. Germany can no longer afford to prop up the rest of Europe and certainly won't be able to afford it in 5-10 years time when it's economy has nearly completely de-industrialised and the demographic time bomb is in full swing.
If Ukraine can survive the war, there will be no pot of gold for Ukraine if they join the EU. They will just be boarding a sinking ship.
The right thing to do is to support Ukraine including with weapons
Said this years ago, but was told by Ukrainian propagandists that I was pro-Russian.
Corruption is in every country. It thrives in dictatorships, where sometimes rulers tolerate it to secure the loyalty of powerful generals and the business elite, and also in wars, where the imperative to get the supplies to the army runs counter to long drawn out verification.
You cant fight a war if theres too much bureaucracy. Tracking the funds requires bureaucracy, but it also slows down decisionmaking.
However the way some talk of "war", like its some kind of spirit that can be exorcised by one priest, rather than requiring two priests (the two sides in the war) to do it, does not reflect reality. The President of Ireland cannot exorcise the military industrial complex.
In truth, the "exorcism" of this war is to be accomplished by many "priests", that is to say governments, diplomats and generals.
We haven't had a war in 100 years, and I think we should listen to those Irish people who have participated in wars and are experts in this. Our state would not have come about without war, although the 1918 election showed the world independence was wanted.
A parallel with Russias invasion of Ukraine would be Britain trying to reconquer the 26 counties. Fortunately, the modern UK is no longer interested in empire, other than historical debate, symbols like OBE etc.
It's fine to say "war" is wrong. But war is not a person. It is a process. Ireland is an outlier in its doctrinaire view that expressing a philosophical opposition to war as a concept, in a country with 1% of the EU economy, will silence the guns.
The right thing to do is to support Ukraine including with weapons, but Ireland cant really supply the weapons as we hardly have any, due to neglect of successive governments. Sometimes the tank must point the way to the negotiating table.
Personally I think that democracy itself is being invaded, not only Ukraine.
Nearly fell off my chair laughing at the thought of you thinking you had 'a win' with that comment……i.e. the ruble is shite
Still at least you have confirmed to us you are actually reading our comments.
Now……about the deliberate targeted bombing of hospitals and childcare facilities - care to offer comment?
Yes you consistently present your opinion and other material in a deliberate manner that tries to paint Ukraine in a negative light.
Your link is paywalled just like the previous one you posted and it is very clear you are simply cherry picking articles to support an anti Ukraine agenda rather than actually trying to engage in discussion. If you were engaging honestly with this thread you would see this issue with corruption was already discussed recently and I agree with the posts that acknowledged that it is a good sign Ukraine is investigating and taking action to root out corruption which is something that would not happen in putin's terrorist state.
You still think I am anti-Ukraine?
It would be best if we could acknowledge that there is an issue with corruption, I thought the FT, which is very pro-Ukraine would be considered a fairly unbiased source and worth a read.
it is 80 ukranians, the us intends to send them to poland, then expects poland to return them to ukraine
Out of curiosity, why only men? There are plenty of jobs that need doing, not only the sterotypical physical ones.
To be clear, I am not agreeing that they should be "ejected" just trying to figure out why men only are required when, in the view of many, the country needs all hands to fight for its survival.
Another strike tonight
Mentioned a while back. That channel is usually lagging behind but the benefit is they usually present all the facts.
Hopefully they prioritise military aged men.
Wouldn't read anything you post with the standard of material you have added to the thread here already.
Apparently an airstrike by Ukrainian forces has now taken out the road into Pokrovsk from Selydove making logistics a bit more difficult for the terrorists putin still has in Pokrovsk.

Doesn't read well
Not great but it needs pointing out about the current reality on the battlefield. Sternenko from the Nationalist group of Ukraine on the situation around the Dnipro front.
Further update from the Ukrainian secretary of the parliamentary defence committee on the chronic manpower shortages now approaching the level of desertions. Something that has been pointed out by some here for a long time.
An update on what happened to that convoy that moved into Pokrovsk under fog, I'm sure it's been mentioned before:
