Money has came out of mine for both but the same, no dispatch yet. I'll be fairly annoyed if it doesn't arrive tomorrow, I have 3 days off work from this evening
I'm picking up the game in-store (as I have a Smyths voucher) but have the controller ordered for delivery.
If it puts anyone's mind at ease, I had Star Wars Outlaws preordered (forgot to cancel it). I got the e-'ready for dispatch' e-mail at 12pm on Wednesday from Smyths, and it was delivered the day after.
Money came out and got the dispatch email. Hardly be here tomorrow?!
Don't see why not. Ive had plenty of stuff from Smyths delivered next day with AnPost. It is AnPost isnt it? Please dont say anything that rhymes with Last Day.

How is Outlaws? It's on my list but Astrobot took priority as kids have been jumping up and down about it for weeks, not just me🤣
Smyths usually do next day delivery on orders before 2pm. The only time a parcel has failed to arrive the next day for me was at Black Friday, which has a high volume of parcels.

I haven't actually opened it and I plan on returning it tomorrow when I pick up the Astro game! It was a preorder I forgot to cancel, whoops… (EDIT: It's actually more idiotic than that - I had it preordered twice for some reason and only cancelled one of them 😂)
I do really want to play it but with Astro tomorrow and playing a few PS Plus games before my sub expires, I planned to hold off buying it for a few months because it will inevitably drop in price being an Ubisoft game 😀
I've been playing outlaws on Xbox via Ubisoft plus. It's nowhere near as bad as people think. Stealth isn't great and there are the odd ones where it's insta fail if you get seen. But there is so much to do and there are plenty of times at end of a contract where you can double cross a syndicate group. I think most reviews got bad scores due to reviewers only having 6 days to rush through the game. It's better if you take your time with it
That's great to hear. I am looking forward to getting into eventually. The temptation to rip off the plastic this week was real!

What happened to Astro Bot in Smyths? Was looking online for the price (after midnight so stock levels were live) and the had plenty of stock in all shops of the game and controller, now it's just the controller and a game and console bundle?
There was one there, so I picked it up. Unsure if I should open it, as if my Edge is anything to go by, most the white will be yellow at some point.
Id say since no stock for few weeks it sold out quickly last night when more stock added. Must have been the midnight bot party 😂
